I used to go to Vegas 2-3X a year when I lived in Cali. Loved it!
I went there once when I lived in Tampa, and made the horrible mistake of getting an evening flight home after a 3-night stay at the Mirage (had a penthouse suite!). 3-Day Vegas hangover + redeye flight = self-inflicted torture.
Since then I have flown to Vegas again, from Dallas, and all I can say is that it was a lot more fun when I would drive there, even though it took 5 hours (San Diego and Camarillo).Thick. Solid. Tight.

From my experiences. I'm shiit with names, but I'll try.
I'm pretty partial to the Venetian/Palazzo. To party all day and night you literally do not have to leave the property.
If you are going with a group of bros and there is a wait outside the club...you will most likely not get in... or you will be waiting a long time. Sad but true. I was lucky (cousin was good friends with a promoter) so we walked up to Tryst and were let in immediately. The guys behind us were like "WTF we've been waiting for 2hrs to get in"....
Talk to the concierge at your hotel. Ask if they can get you bottle service at which ever club you want to go to. Last time I was at Tao minimum bottle service was... $300 for a bottle of Goose.
Tao always has long fuking lines. Want to avoid them? Go to Tao and get dinner. Shiits pricey, but it assures you entrance into the club for free and no lines. Don't want to drop a ton of money? Go to Lavo... it's in the Venetian and the crowd is young. It's always packed and easy to get into. Lots of young people.
Go to the pool clubs. Azure (Venetian). Holy chit mang. The waitresses are stunning in those tiny ass white bikinis. There is cabanas and couches all around, but you are going to be paying minimum one bottle. There was bitches everywhere... always. Fuking love Azure.
If you don't care about where you stay, but would like to stay on the strip I recommend both Mirage and TI. You can easily get rooms from $90 a night.. possibly cheaper. You will never have to take a cab from these spots as they are very centrally located.
Best bang for your buck for morning grub (besides buffets). HASH HOUSE A GO GO. Holy hell. That greasy ass chorizo will clear out any signs of a hangover you might have had.
Picking up chicks. Fuk. At the clubs, with a table, I struck the fuk out. My cousin and his friend (the club promoter) were telling me that bitches at the higher end clubs are looking for older dudes with stacks. I look younger, but I also believe what they told me.
I can add more as I think of it... just wanted to get some of this out.So if the Devil wear Prada
Adam and Eve wear nada
I'm in between, but way more fresher

if you're driving from LBC then just pack liquor in suitcases with you.
every time we drive we have our dedicated liquor suitcase. always thicker suitcase usually leather line it with thin beach towels and stuff as many bottles of liquor you can fit. oh and plastic cups. not a necessity but if you have a ton of people with you makes it alot easier.
basically go to costco and buy handles and save a bunch of money for pregramin[Official] San Diego Brah

Also Caesars/Harrah's has a 24 hour buffet pass for 50 dollars at like 7 different buffets, it's a bargain considering a drink and sandwich is gonna cost ya 10 bucks or more
April 30th they are closing the doors down at O'sheas =(.......will reopen sometime later when the remodeling is done

Being a fatass in bulk mode I try and hit a buffet once or twice a month. Hands down the three best in town are the bellagio buffet, buffet wynn and carnival world at the rio.
You can get a 24hour buffet pass and you can eat at any of the harrah's owned casinos. I think it's flamingo, rio, ballys, paris, ceasars and planet hollywood. Mgm does the same pass deal for their casinos which include aria, vdara, mandalay bay, mgm, luxor only one not included is the bellagio. Most buffets also offer a 1 day unlimited pass.
Some places I'd suggest to eat at off strip are hash house and hot n juicy crawfish.
Also, if some of you coming into town are in large groups and want to do **** like say a buffet for example I'd be willing to meet up so you can use my locals only card and or one of my players cards so you can save a ****load of money. Last time I hit the buffet with a bunch of friends I saved us like $140.1590lbs @ 251lbs raw.

BRAH that is far from the truth, you can get into the clubs with a 30 to the bouncer and a 20 minute wait, it's worth it though, the cover will also be 40 or something, so about $70 to get in, but you haven't seen hotter girls IMO. Plus the strip is AMAZINNGGGGG for picking up girls anyway, you can smash bitties off there no reason

It depends on the club, some give not a single **** if it's a group of guys some do... XS is easily the strictest when it comes to guys/girls ratio. Cover is usually $100 or so and a strict dress code too.
I do agree though, trolling the strip or fremont for bitches usually ends in a sucess, like last night for example. Nickel beer night at beauty bar is the best place to pick up hipster/scene/pin-up chicks.Last edited by DriftParty; 03-28-2012 at 01:09 PM.

Don't include drinks, that's another $20 at least (for like one drink srs). But the pool parties are AMAZING. But, you have to keep in mind just going to the regular pools are nearly just as fun, and it's a great, great way to pick up a group of girls for later in the night. Everyone has their guard down at the pool and is just relaxing, easy to just talk about some girls in the pool/spa and see what they are doing later, unless you are stupid or ugly, you can easily get their number/room number and be able to meet up with them later. It's a weird thing in Vegas, everyone is looking for more friends, and more people to drink with, so picking up chicks is seriously 100x easier than it is anywhere else.
I've gone to Vegas before with just the boys and it was awesome. You can still pick up chicks super easy (as said above) or get into clubs (you'll just have to go to the right ones, and wait a little longer, and get there early). I've also gone and just gotten drunk and had the time of my life, or have a hotel party and invite girls to it. Gambling is also fun because you get free drinks while you're gambling (even on the penny slots). Up to you, but it's definitely still possible to have the time of your life.
I haven't been for the 4th yet, but I hear the pools are going off and it's a really popular time to be out there, so I'd expect everything to be packed. Which is good. If you're not going to the clubs, Bills Gamblin Hall is pretty fun and cheap, there are a ton of shows you can see, just walking up and down the strip is seriously a lot more fun than it sounds (especially when drunk) and there are always random bars/lounges you can go to in every casino that are free and have people in there."If in my say 80 years on earth I do more help than damage, then I feel complete."

As the other guy said, the only places I even know that sell alcohol on the strip that you can bring up to the rooms would be the ABC store right when you walk into Planet Hollywood (use the right entrance, it's the 3rd/4th store on the right), or there is a 7-11 down inbetween Planet Hollywood and MGM/Gameworks all that, by the Hawaiin Village. They sell some select alcohol there too. I'd recommend getting alcohol early though and just bringing it into the strip, way easier and cheaper.

4th of july here is pretty crazy, all the clubs and bars throw parties, most of which hosted by celebrities and top name music acts perform. They also shut down portions of the strip and set of fireworks from the roofs.
I'm not much of a club guy myself. Personally I have far more fun and way better luck with the ladies when I'm at actual bars/lounges versus high end clubs full of gold diggers and uppity sluts who will only **** you if you drive a bentley, yes those girls actually exist. I live a bit off strip so most of my "local" spots would be a drive for tourists but when we do head down to the strip or fremont I frequent
-lily bar @ bellagio
-Bond @ cosmo
-chandelier @ cosmo
-city bar @ aria
-Deuce gaming lounge @ aria
-v bar @ the venetian
-ghostbar @on the roof of the palms
-beauty bar @ fremont
-Artifice bar/lounge (just north of the strip off of charleston and 1st)
Vegas is also a great place to eat and get entertained as well. After I moved here I tried to make it a point to go out and soak in the entire city as fast as I could so here's my favorite restaurants and shows.
-hot n juicy crawfish (in chinatown on spring mountain just off the strip, don't walk though, take a taxi)
-hash house a go-go (west sahara and rainbow, taxi is a must)
-wicked spoon buffet @ the cosmo I think dinner is around $30 a person
-blue ribbon sushi @ cosmo
-lemongrass thai @ aria
-n9ne steakhouse @ palms
-Lavo @ the venetian
-Tao @ the venetian
-boby flays mesa grill @ ceasars
-Botero @ encore
-shows-
-Cirque du soleil @ bellagio
-Le reve @ wynn
-Peepshow @ planet hollywood
There's tons of other things you can do while in vegas, there's epic shopping at the wynn "esplanade", the miracle mile at planet hollywood and fashion show mall located right on the strip. There is a huge premium outlets center just north of the strip with stores like true religion, ax, american apparel, diesel, bcbg ect ect.
Pole position indoor go-karting is located just off the strip on arville and flamingo.
If you feel like renting a car and making the drive I highly suggest you check out red rock canyon it's about 20 miles west of the strip and you take charleston the entire way out. It's pretty epic and fun as **** to go out on a day hike. Hoover damn is also another pretty cool thing to see/tour. You can also take a helicopter tour of the grand canyon for about $200 a person.
and for the ballers who are bringing stacks of cash to spend frivolously, you can rent a bentley continental gt for $500 a day, a ferrari 458 for $1500 a day or a gallardo for $1000 a day from celebrity motorcars of vegas or any of the exotic rental services.
I'm sure I forgot a ton of ****, will add to list later.Last edited by DriftParty; 03-28-2012 at 02:16 PM.
