Got one bird wrong last time – it was :
wood warbler (Phylloscopus sibilatrix) Grönsångare
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wood_warbler
and not Eurasian siskin....
So many of these are very similar, but trying my best.
Using a bird book and google atm, then just ordered similar ones (4 of them) for trees/bushes, flowers, mushrrooms, and insects.
Anyways, here are some from today (not all perfect – was difficult with these small ones):

Was just out for a walk 5 minutes away again and just hoped for some small birds. Saw a roe deer for the first time at this location - and I grew up here. Tried to quitely hand signal a few ppl behind me and a dude sitting on a bench to have a look, but they all were just looking into their cell phones.
Anyways, it dissappeared pretty fast so couldn't get any great shots.
The moon looked pretty nice just before sunset as was walking the trail still. Remade it to black and white as some details seemed nicer this way. I should probably try some shots like this of celestial things later.

Went today with just the 300 mm/f4, wanted to see the difference in look from the 90 mm clinical look of the macro lens. I like the telephoto lens look a lot more for just normal walk around shots – blowing out the background and making it look more artistic. Then I will shoot macro more at home I think, in a more controlled place for details etc. But will pass on macro in the field..
This pic from today is not macro, 0.3X with the 300 mm and cropped in.
Rained alot today, but was prepared.
More soon....

Got a few decent ones, but failed a lot as well this last time around. Will have to work on getting better at the compositions as well – perhaps not hurry as much and look things over more carefully before shooting. I guess as with anything, it's a matter of getting the reps in a way. Hopefully I can share some animal pics soonish again, but these macro/flower pics have been a good practice I think.
Have a good evening/day all.

January 7 2003 I was driving around on my ATV and came across this on the other side a cedar tree. It was probably less than 48 hours since it passed away, because there was no smell of rotting meat. Coyotes ate the meat. My daughter in law took the head and made a European skull mount.
If you look closely, there are some kernals of corn in the picture. It had been eating from my corn feeder.
