You can mix them for the best of both worlds, but you really only need one or the other. With wraath you get a protein and carb free mix with the free form essential amino acids. With intrain you get the carbs and hydrolyzed protein. There are some other differences as well. We offer both so people have choices

these are the major differences (others exist as well)
purple intrain = hydrolyzed whey protein, banaba and carbs
purple wraath = free form essential amino acids, carb and protein free
either can be used intra workout, you dont need both unless you want to combine them at a smaller dose each (i.e 1 scoop of each mixed)Last edited by CONTROLLED LABS; 09-30-2010 at 06:28 PM.

The change from training with no intra supplement to using an intra supplement has made a huge difference. My first "real" intra is purple wraath, when I first started taking it the flavour did nothing for me, then after several days I started craving it..... The effect on the workout helps me push myself that bit further, focus more, push harder and really feel the benefit from it. Now to try in-train and the other CL products! Good job Controlled Labs

Thanks for response. Makes sense, i can see how they stack with each other. I ordered intrain mainly because thats what CL intended it out to be. Ill order purple wrath next time.
Also, What does banaba offer to the mix? and how does it affect the workout?Last edited by MattyC_888; 10-01-2010 at 06:55 PM. Reason: change of thought

Intra
Xtend is a great product. I liked that, but nothing beats the ingredients in Purple Wraath. Not just that, but the taste! All I do, is just add a little bit of glutamine in with purple wraath, and there you have it, the best intra-workout drink ever.
Leads me to question, is glutamine best to take post-workout or intra-workout? cause xtend has some.
