My one and only take on the Heat-Celtics series is that the refs control the game and the tempo. This is the referee series. They need their fame.

The refs in this heat Celtics game have been bailing Brown out all night. Several bad foul calls when he's missed inside shots. Crowder is out there flopping like a fish. When did Dragic get so good? I've never liked his game much but he has been insane in these playoffs and is actually playing D. Have I just been underrating him or has he made a massive jump?

I've been trying to think of a team the heat remind me of. My first thought was the 2011 Mavs since they are playing so well as a team and don't seem to rely on a single player or 2 to carry them but it doesn't really fit that well outside of that. The late career Duncan Spurs teams would fit ok.

I think you've been underrating him brah. He's always been a good shooter and a very crafty finisher around the bucket. Knows how to run an offense, makes good passes and gives you good effort on D. Tough, hard nosed guy too. definitely one of the most underrated all-stars in the league. Have always been a fan of his game since Raptors faced the heat a few years back. Always steps his game up during crunch time. Basically picture what ever Westbrook does, Dragic is the opposite of that.

I don't think its a big issue. Hyper competitive people just do chit like that. Say what you will about Marcus Smart's game but he leaves it all out there on the court. He's not the most skilled but nobody gives more than he does. Whenever you play that hard and still lose your emotions will boil over. He'll be fine by game 3 and I'm sure his teammates expect this from him. I'm probably the most laid back guy you'll ever meet IRL but I used to act a fool if we lost high school playoff games. If it was an NBA playoff game I'd probably pull an Amare Stodamire and break on hand on a fire extinguisher lol

not a big deal
happens all the phucking time in sports, people get upset and emotional after a game, perhaps unhappy with the effort the displayed. it's how they bounce back from it is what's important
as long as they aren't pulling an amare and punching fire extinguishers and injuring themselvespositivity brah crew

When our team lost games in college I wouldn't talk to anyone for at least one day. Almost none of us would, it was sheer disappointment and anger. We would always recover and come back focused next practice/game. **** gets heated and teammates beef. It's passion... I think they'll bounce back next two games.

It's all good. I'm gonna pay better attention to Kuz tonight. Admittedly, I haven't been watching him as closely as some of the other Lakers. I'd trust Marcus Morris before Markeiff and with them both being in LA I get mixed up on which is with which team. KCP has shown more hustle in the playoffs than I usually notice from him but his shot has been pure garbage. I'm just ready for this series to going. The Eastern conference finals have had 2 excellent games so far and hopefully the West will be just as good. I thought the Clippers would match up with the Lakers better but I've underestimated the Nuggets so far. They'll need Jocic and especially Murray to continue playing out of their minds and a 3rd to step up if they want to win.
I've been very impressed with MPJ and Tyler Herro during the playoffs. Don't normally see rookies showing out like that. The Heat are the new Spurs. They can find talent anywhere in the draft. They're like the anti Hornets. I was really high on Malik Monk when he came out of Kentucky but as soon as Charlotte drafted him I knew I was probably wrong lol6'2"

Over. The flopping is completely out of control. It seems like everyone is doing it and it really takes away a lot of enjoyment watching the game. Soft calls are another thing that has been really frustrating to watch. If a wing or lead guard drives and he misses the shot it seems like the ref instinctively blows the whistle. 2 particularly egregious examples happened last night. On one Jalen Brown drove and missed a shot and Olynek was backpedalling as fast as he could to get away from him and they still called a foul. It's a problem when the offensive player initiates the contact when the defensive player is just trying to get away from him and they still call it. That's not even bringing up the worst thing to watch which is when the offensive players just throw the ball at the goal if the defender touches them (James Harden special). The first time I ever saw that was in the mid 00s and DWade was doing it. Now it seems like half the league does that foul baiting bullchit.
Most likely. The Lakers are the better team but the Clippers were better than the Nuggets as well. The Lakers did lose game 1 of the past 2 series so it'll be interesting to see what happens6'2"

I say Lakers in 5. I think they lose Game 3 honestly
I wouldn't be shocked if it's a sweep tho. I want to see a Lakers vs Heat finals
That has the makings of s great one with almost all games being pretty close. I think this Denver team just matches up horribly against the Lakers
Here's a semi hot take........ AD wins Finals MVP

Several cheap offensive fouls on the nuggets. Kuz and Rondo are playing great and what would have been a great physical game is getting ruined by chitty officiating. The nuggets 3 best players all have to sit with 3 fouls. If LeBron has another wardrobe malfunction it's gonna take the whole TNT staff to keep Reggie Miller from trying to put it in his mouth
