But you are connected to the earth via. the bench you lay on which means people are actually lifting 0lbs.

I add 2.8lbs to all my figures to account for Atmospheric pressure but I am not sure how many square centimeters my bar takes up of course being round it is aerodynamic so I should probably use a square bar to be more accurate and I am at 1,000 ft so the 2.8 is for sea level so I need to subtract 1,000 ft of atmospheric pressure too.

This is why I do pushups instead of bench. When I am benching I am only pushing the bar plus the weight in my arms which is connected to my body and the bench itself which is included in the weight. But when I do pushups I am pushing against the earth itself, which means I am repping 6E^24kg. Mirin' my numbers?

BRB going to go outside get under a semi-truck and connect my hands to a Semi-Truck and lift it since it is connect to my arms and thus doesn't weigh anythingSkepticism is the chastity of the intellect, and it is shameful to surrender it too soon or to the first comer: there is nobility in preserving it coolly and proudly through long youth, until at last, in the ripeness of instinct and discretion, it can be safely exchanged for fidelity and happiness

My question is...why does it matter?
You still bench less than half the Misc. even if they don't count the bar.USMC (2009-2013)
