What ain't no country I ever heard of... do they speak English in what? I'll repeat myself... I.. do... not... know...who... Kramer... is. Therefore I don't know the reference. That would be like me talking to you guys about Athene and "pfffft around the corner" or the "furious dance". Odds are you would draw a blank.

Thanks to google I have determined that this is from some comedy sitcom which explains it. I don't watch tv and have not owned one in well over a decade. I download shows that look interesting on my computers. I primarily watch Sci-fi and Fantasy stuff but occasionally something like Dexter or South Park. I've heard of Sienfeld but have never watched it, but have seen small clips of it and it looks a bit stupid and not really something I would watch.

Wait.
Jason has never seen Seinfeld and is unaware of Kramer?
and edit:
Are you advocating a 5x5 program for a newbie lifter as well? Because I'm confused to who your audience is here.
Also, do you have experience training other clients or just yourself? Just curious if you had some sort of background in that."Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint."

I think Stronglifts 5x5 is appropriate for the novice lifter, with some additional accessories. I think other 5x5 setups are appropriate for individuals of different levels of experience and I don't think 5x5 (as a rep/set scheme) should ever be completely thrown out for those seeking more overall size.
I've done some free lance training off and on over the years some paid, some just for friends or family who needed help for a couple months. Including rank novices, some experienced bodybuilders (natty and otherwise) and even a friend who did Muay Thai at a serious level and needed help backing on more muscle and power. Before getting sick and being forced to take down time I had 10 years serious lifting experience including training other people.

I think people are being too picky about the sound. It sounds fine in your Hodge Twin impression.
For someone who wants to get STRONG and that is his ONLY objective, do you agree that Madcow > Starting Strength > Stronglifts, but for a hypertrophy objective it would be the opposite?Few things are set in stone, except that you have to squat or you are a pussy. - Mark Rippetoe

Other than Madcows and SS are not for people of the same level of experience. However yes Madcow and SS more for strength, something like Stronglifts for hypertrophy first (although the novice will get very strong on it as well) strength second, although it should be noted that 5x5 sets across methods past a certain level of experience stop yielding strength at any appreciable rate and become hypertrophy almost entirely. They really are bodybuilding protocols not powerlifter ones (other than as hypertrophy work for a powerlifting seeking to bulk up).
