Interesting topic here. Sorry I'm too lazy to add who they belong to, but these are the quotes that owned this thread and pretty much were what I was thinking throughout the entire time I was reading:
You don't sound happy, so don't do it. Sounds like you're kinda angry you took this route and no one appreciates it because it's so complicated.
In any case, we live in a world where people want instant results. Most people who come for training do not want to spend time working on every imbalance they have in their body. They could care less to do the perfect squat. It might be interesting to some, but not many.
KyleAaron, you have once again dominated the thread with excellent points
Why don't you become a Sports Physical Therapist where it is entirely about the science and how things work.I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying.
I'm not out there sweating for three hours every day just to find out what it feels like to sweat.

And as far as the other topic thats thread jacking - Idk if he can do it or not, but it would be impressive if true. I got about 10lbs on you and can do about half the weight you're talking about for 18reps.

Dude point out where I lied. Go through all these posts and point out where I lied. I never once said i COULD squat 405 x 18. My 1 rm is 575. I squatted 405 for sets of ten in the past. I said based on that I believe I could squat 405 x 18.
Just Youtube 405 x 20 and there are about 30+ videos of guys doing it. It must not be that ****ing amazing.
Thats my final words on the squating 405 x 18 topic that was irrelevantly brought up much earlier in the post before hijacking.όλα ή τίποτα

That isn't even the same thing. The comment is about reps not weight. You're not very smart at all.

leave the field OP, its obvious you dont take any joy in this type of work unless your in a certain environment. Open up your own studio and train who you want to train. I do see where your coming from though as every globo gym has their clients on the same routines regardless of goals.
With that said 95% of clients hire PT's for body comp changes and you can produce pretty good results with a set of dumbbells and bodyweight movements. If your goal is athletic performance then maybe go around to local schools and offer some summer camps or somethingLast edited by NorthTexasBB; 09-12-2010 at 02:21 PM.

Since you're not a pt and have no place in this forum and haven't contributed a single thing to this thread except to talk smack on an off topic tangent, how about you get outta and go back to the misc kid?
True wisdom is knowing that there is tons out there that you don't know, and you will never know everything, and having the humility to admit it. OP should tattoo that to his forehead to remind himself daily. As someone in the thread previously stated, you aren't that tight. Get over yourself. If you hate the profession so much, here's a simple solution: GET THE **** OUT.
Man, I have been handing out negs like candy on this thread, lol. Some of you people think your **** don't stink and I have to say you're wrong.
