Daily Rant Part 6

Cause I want:

- a new kitchen
- new skylights
- popcorn ceiling removed

And I need:

- a retaining wall behind my pool so it doesn't collapse
- new windows on one side of the house to replace the ones that rotted
- a new pool fence to replace the one that is falling apart

OMFG - I HATE popcorn ceilings! I would totally skip a vacation for that. I'm NOT joking. I'm totally serious. That's how much I hate those damn things. They give me the creeps. Looks like someone sprayed cottage cheese all over a ceiling. . .blech.

That does look pretty straight forward! I can do pull ups - but my back has faaaaaaaaatness on it. (It's coming off! No worries!) COME WITH! Ha ha ha! Come to Costa Rica!!! Good coffee, excellent surf, quiet beaches, lots of cute birds and monkeys, too!

Oh my back has fat on it too. Doesn't matter. I can't wait until I can do a pullup on my own.

What's worse is that at some point someone must have tried to repair it with regular spackle. So there is a big ugly repair spot on my big ugly popcorn ceiling. Oh, and the ceiling that has the popcorn is in my great room. 2 stories hight. And I am afraid of heights. Big money to get someone to scrape it off.

It was a very good builder. But we are still considering just sheetrocking over it instead of removing it. I think it would be cheaper and we would be covered if there were any defects.

It needs more than paint. There is a 3' x 6' patch where they used spackle for some reason. It looks horrible.

Girl! Y'all just must not've been lookin' in the right place! Costa can be traveled in for cheeeeeeeap . . . and with excellent accomodations, too! Although, come to think of it, the flights can get stupid. One year, I spent less than $200 on air fare, and less than $1,000 for everything while I was there: FOR A WEEK. This year, the airfare was about $1,500. Phuccers.

We were looking at all inclusives and they were pricey. Cabo was more affordable
