Got my troy plates today but not happy with the paint finish on them just about every plate has spots were the paint is scratched off or has black stuff in it, drips of paint that were allowed to dry, were they painted the logo and got paint on other parts of the plate and left it there to dry. After spending so much on these plates it's disappointing to see how little pride they took finishing them and making sure they wouldn't get beat up during shipping. I may just be picky but this was a rather large investment and I expected a quality looking product.

Home gym Ideas!
I was very lazy to hit the gym as I had to travel 10 miles from my home. I was puzzled as I couldn't find a solution. I also tried many workouts at home, but the results weren't impressive. I was wondering if someone could help me. Then my friend suggested me to setup a home gym. I thought it would be useful and I am in the second phase of developing my home gym. I would like to mention the website that he had suggested me "garagegymplanner.com"
Crank it up!

How many square feet is that? It looks bigger than a 400 square foot 2 car garage.. You have some really nice pieces in your gym..

First time stumbling on this thread but really cool.
I have the Powertec multi-gym and the powertec power rack with lat pulldown attachment. Really heavy duty and solid equipment.
I am not sure how many of us have 1 car garages, but the space struggle is real.
Updates:
-no more bowlex
-got rid of the cheap exercise bike, stair stepper from the 80s is like pure steel and still going strong
-Picked up dumbbells 5lbs - 35lbs and a dumbbell rack
To Do:
- Purchase 2x45 lb plates (currently have 2x10, 2x22, 2x25, 2x33, 2x35)
- Deadlift platform or something of the sort to help cut down on the noise
Hopefully I get some good ideas from this thread.

Ordered a 45 degree hyperextension from EliteFTS tonight, my gym is now completely out of space so I'll be done buying anything major for awhile once it gets here.

I wish it wasn't but there is literally no space left once this is added, my gym is only about a 10'x12' so with the rack, my lat pulldown, and now this I have zero space left to spare. I have enough floor space to use the low row and everything else will have to be done inside my rack. I've squeezed everything I can into the space.

Once I build a garage I'll definitely be looking to add a few more big pieces but not til then. (I want a leg curl/extension, the wife wants a rower, and we both want a functional trainer but, none of those will fit in my current space)
I've posted some pics of my gym in the legend thread. I no longer have internet but on my phone and can't upload pics from it to here. The hyper should be here in 4-6 weeks is what I was told today.

thats great. So far I'm pretty happy with it. I had the older model so I kinda knew what I was in for. I mainly bought it for shoulder stuff. Really like it for presses and shrugs. Flat bench is good too. Still trying to find the exact sweet spot set up for inclines. Love doing inclines with dumbbells, so not sure how much I will end up using for that exercise, I had an older powertec flat bench years ago with a foot attachment and sold it with the bench. wish I kept the attachment. would come in handy for declines, which seem to be useless on this machine. no way to secure your feet. Like you said It's good for options. Also i like ( and need) a machine that didn't take up too much space and wasn't a one trick pony. I was looking at the Legend Leverage shoulder press too before I bought it or possible hammer shoulder press. but both would have taken up too much space I think. Hope to see some pics when you get set up.

I feel your pain. Its either sell off some stuff for new stuff or just be content with what i have for now. I would love some sort of power squat machine. Maybe the York. but would have to make room for it. probably a good, because I would keep buying more stuff I guess.
