It�s two different things...having an horseshoe shapped hair caused by MPB and a shaved hair that if the person wants to it grows back again.

My husband is bald....and my 3 boyfriends before that were. Two of them had military hairccuts and they shaved it off for me. As far as I know they are still sporting the look! I LOVE 'EM BALD!

Im bald meself, been so for a good 4-5 years. My reason was my hair was thick and hated it coming down my sides, felt really dirty. Took it off and is great. Usually if you give your face a rough unshaved look and your head bald, will show weather you are suited for a bald head (in that case you still need a bald head).

A question to the girls ere though I been contemplating on changing and growing my hair long again, but get it thinned when its long enough as after so many years of shaving it would be thick as a steel rope. Should I do it or should I not? Is doing your hair a real hassle? And is it expensive to maintain hair to its best?

Don't do it! lol Seriously, having long hair is a such a hassle. Mine's just past shoulder length and I can't stand it. I always wear it up. I'd cut it all off, but I look like a 12 year old boy when I have short hair.

To add my opinion to the original post, I've never liked long hair on guys. And that shaggy hipster look someone mentioned is repulsive. I LOVE a clean, shaved head on a man, especially if he has muscles. Like someone said, the Rock looked great with a shaved head. And Kurt Angle is sexy as hell:

I really can't believe that you like Kurt Angle. Not that I think he's ugly (I'm a guy and I can tell when a guy is ugly or not) but I would not have guessed a girl going for him.

BTW girls, my head shape is similar to this guy's below (he's LL cool J). I wanted to know if that is considered an ugly head? Because I wanna shave my head (not for the women but because long hair is so ****ing annoying) and I wanted to know if having a head like that would be a turnoff (well I guess it is kinda for the women).

Long hair is PIA but I gotta do it or else girls will see my abnormally shaped head. Either that or I'm imagining it. I'll tell you that my head looks small, though.

I don't know, I never thought my head was abnormally shaped till someone told me it was. But it's been a long time since I saw my skull and maybe the guy who told me was ragging on me because his head looks like a basketball. I mean my head looks like Kurt Angle's and I don't know if that's misshapen.
