Me.
Nothing sounds as good as my Panasonic HJE-120's which I've got several of. Crystal clear clarity with awesome bass and great midrange and highs.
Those were the best so I bought numerous ones. The newer HJE-125 doesn't have the sound quality especially on the low end bass.
I've tried numerous more expensive wired and wireless headphones all only to be disappointed.
People used wired headphones for decades but let me guess those just don't work anymore. Or maybe it just doesn't look cool enough huh?
With the iPhone all ya need is a lightning-to-3.5 adapter for $10 to use wired headphones

Lmao wut. You prefer something so that thing is clearly superior? I had to use a Mac once at an office and I couldn't figure out how to install a new program. I've used a friend's iphone and couldn't figure out how to go back in an app I was using. Nothing was intuitive at all to me. I'm sure I could get used to it but I didn't enjoy both experiences.
In the end both work fine and it's users are generally happy so the whole discussion is kinda stupid.

If you pay as much for an Android as you did that iphone stuff would be smooth as heck
The main issue with Android is the ram leak issue. Reboot your phone once a day and you're good.I'm not here for rage. I'm here for revenge!

I'm a tech person and android just works better for me, when you go with a decent device with good specs, it actually will perform better than an iPhone and even the camera on devices like flagship Samsungs and Pixels are just as good if not better at taking pics... in regards to the OS, I think iOS does a good job at keeping things simple and user friendly but it takes away from having the amount of control as you would on an Android and for me personally, I prefer to use open-source apps from f-droid instead of Google apps (as I don't want to give more of my data to Google) and also like sideloading different apps... that is one thing that can't be done in iOS (unless you jailbreak)

Dude, you just summed it up - you are a tech person. I am a tech person and prefer the iPhone. Projects in the past have included mobile phone apps for both iPhone and Android.
Was a long time iPhone user and bought into the Android hype of you can do whatever you want to it, its quasi-open source, blah, blah. Bought a high end Samsung and it drove me crazy. The interface is not consistent and there is all kinds of stuff running that you have no idea why. The screen was awesome but the battery life was horrible because all this stuff was running. I turned off tons of stuff and it was finally stable. Than they pushed a new version of Android and I had to do it all over again.
Oh yeah, I forgot - Android is a mobile spy plaftform for Google. This is not a joke. Go do some reading on it.
After a period of time, I was sick of it and went back to Apple. I dont want to twiddle with it, I want it to work.

I use iphone but I'm not really a fanboy or anything. They just do well in optimizing the important stuff that needs to work. For laptops/computers though I prefer windows since it's much less restricted and for gaming. Macbooks are joocy af too, especially the new ones but they are completely useless when it comes to gaming. They are good for productivity and work though especially if you're a tech brah.

these phones are a lot closer than you think, but its basically up to how you want to use the device.. the best way I can describe it is, android lets you use the phone how ever you want (open), and iphone tells you how to use their phone (closed). Honestly like the way apple is blocking apps and stuff from tracking you making people like zuckerberg mad.. i know apple using use data the same way google does so no company is innocent, however google needs to implement a blocker like that or else i might switch just because of that feature alone.
brb faceID is nuts
*faceid is ok, i much rather have touchid.. (apple perfected it) touchid it lets you into the device unlocked as well... when people use faceid they still gotta swipe to get in, pretty dumb.
brb apple pay
*samsung pay USED to be the best, accepted basically everywhere a magnetic strip was regardless of "we don't accept googlepay or applepay" but since the S21 and on they've killed off "Magnetic Secure Transmission" tech that made them the best.. now its just like googlepay/applepay.
brb imessage/facetime
*google basically has that, but apple is locking out everyone else, IF they were to unlock it, basically all android and iphones can communicate inside the same protocol.
brb applications are a million times smoother and better designed
*the applications and games run a lot better on apple devices simply because the processor/gpu is better than anything android has.
brb display is amazing
*samsung displays are better on their flagships, no simply denying this.. every techie will agree
brb icloud+ backups making swaping or moving to a new phone like magic -
*i've moved from older samsung phones to newer samsung phones, same with my wife's older iphone to newer iphone... both are the same when upgrading phones, place phones close to each other and it just migrates. both are seamless.*** Free Thinker Crew ***

I use an android because the battery lasts for 3 days and if I drop it facedown on concrete, which I do about once a year, I'll just buy a newer model one for $150 or $200. I guess I'm just getting old lol. The cheap android does everything my flagship phones did. The screens are better on the more expensive phones but personally I can't tell a difference if they aren't side by side. The camera is the biggest difference but I take about one pic a month so it isn't worth the extra $1000 it would cost.

I feel like I am back in 2010-2015 again. Sure you're still having the placebo effect. Once things get into a routine you're going to start getting annoyed by small things over time. One of the notorious ones that really fcked me over was they'll sneak in or force updates that will change out the entire layout or usage of core apps. Example, before an update my Safari browser if you had multiple tabs you just swiped right to go between them, after the update they were all sorted top down like opening a filing cabinet. Was royally pissed. Also, it's well known and documented that the phone works great at first but the way they have their software programmed that it's designed to degrade the phone over time with regards to performance and especially battery life. Apple is similar to Windows that one of the first things you should do is disable all software updates. If one sneaks in the problem is that it's not just what is current, it's every build in-between what your build and the update it. Check back in 6 months or a year.

when blackberry folded my company took it away and told us to get our own phone.
I was offered a used iphone 5 and took it due to issues with android and email with our system at work.
that is the only reason.
i used that until the battery swelled and cracked the screen.
i replaced that with a 7.
i was using that until about yr ago when i dropped it face down on a tile floor and spiderwebbed the screen.
i called my carrier and the apple store and they didn't have replacement screens in stock for that phone and would have to be ordered with no known arrival date.
they also didn't really have anything in stock other than the 13's and some android phone with a folding screen. (it was SAD how little the Verizon store had) so i begrudgingly bought that because i was literally shaving my finger tips on the broken glass of my screen.
i stick with iphone because all my chit is on their platform now.
it's easy AF to to jump to a new iphone.
the only reason.
most of the apps i use are available.
for stuff that isn't i have an android tablet.
i don't understand the tribalism over a phone.
