The part I don't get is why do you even go through all that hassle? What is the benefit of all this primping? That just seems high maintenance to me, shaving, waxing etc, unless you have a reason like stepping onto a stage etc why do it? I guess maybe I'm just a slob IDK. I couldn't care less if I have some chest hair etc, I cut my own hair on my head usually just #1 guard 1/8" length shave my head, pop the guard off run that over my face and I'm good for a week. When I start looking too scruffy I do it again, its painless and takes about 10 minutes. Even in my bachelor days I didn't try that hard to primp and preen myself. If your doing it for the womenz (at age 40) I don't think some body hair is gonna be a deal breaker...

Honestly, I do it because I like the look and feel - in the same way that I style my hair and dress well and eat well. And women tend to like it too. But not always.

It means I stick to the same weights and focus on full body toning and general cardio and keeping weight at a natural level.
I don't like the buff look - which I have done at times in the past.
I also have a knee injury and lower back issue so things tend to fall apart at some point when I'm going harder.
Not worth it for me. Never was.

I'm just talking basic respect and decency for others.
Only reason I posted was to give a heads up to guys who might be thinking of trying out laser treatments.

The idea is that you go through a relatively short period of hassle so that you don't really need to shave anymore.
It's because I hate shaving/waxing that I got sucked into it.
But now I'm not sure if it's going to really have the results they say it will.
Time will tell.

Have they not told you that lazer hair removal is not permanent and you will need booster sessions every year

And, yes, I was told up front that it is normal to need an annual touch up.

Not anti-buff. I said I prefer trim and toned - still requires regular gym maintenance and weights etc. And who cares what first post is about. Should I post that I'm ripped and bench 300? Do you even realize that you are actually trolling me - and I'm guessing others too?

I tried around the family jewels at the start and I would say it's on par with upper neck and face. But guys and gals will have a different experience depending on hair density, sensitivity, etc.
I'm surprised about the ankle though. It's a walk in the park for me compared to neck/face - especially upper lip and chin.
And yes I was told there would be need for annual touch ups.
That's fine by me, as long as I get to a point where it's even and light/low.
Some places it's already basically gone.
But for most there is another year I would guess.

Absolutely. Straight guys are so conditioned by family and society, they often don't even know that they might want to act or look or do things any differently than they are.

Which is also why I am turning the table for both of you, so that you might possibly see that your razzing and assuming I must be a
troll, when all I have done is posted something and interacted with people, is the only form of trolling behavior going on here.
I don't really expect you to see or acknowledge that.

And as I said in the op, I am doing the whole body minus head, armpits, and family jewels - so yes that includes the ankles.
