I was just glad I got those bad boys down ...... my dog's not too good with the Heimlich Maneuver Actually, they went down pretty easily and absolutely no issues with aftertaste or side effects
Thanks Lonnie! 1st night's recap coming up!

1st Night Recap on HG4 UP
I downloaded a little sleep app on my cell phone (SleepBot) which records the number of hours I sleep each night and has a cool little graph of my movements ....IN MY SLEEP ....(oh the possibilities) .... so, last night's graph
First off, technically I went to bed this morning This is my big, big, really big problem. I am a night person and I stay up late. However, you can see by the graph that I had somewhat of a disruptive sleep last night and I was awake quite a bit of the night .... but.....I was full of energy all day long! So I'm chalking that up to a plus for the HG4 UP. I think I'll record my sleep all 5 nights I take the supplement and see what will hopefully be an improvement in sleep quality. I will also work very hard to go to sleep before it's actually the next day
This app also has the option to record sound ........... good god, would never want to know that I snore, or say weird things in my sleep, or that my dog and cat actually can speak and have thoughtful conversations in the middle of the night, or that I have a ghost living in my house or something .... honestly, who would want to know that stuff?
Workout coming up .....Caring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.

Hi Swoosh,
That looks like an absolutely brutal session. Crazy enough that I may want to try it for a couple weeks after I attain my strength goals.
As for those being wussy weights? You squat more than most guys in my gym, add to the fact you are getting 30 seconds rest between sets. For that you get a round of applause.Blood......Sweat........RESPECT!!!!!

Swooshie, I looked at your sleep post and thought, "this is a nice peaceful thread on how to sleep better". Then I looked at your workout post and almost had a heart attack.

Yes, I love a good steak on the grill! You have an open invitation
Thanks!
Thanks, lonnie! I believe I've been running it for about 8 or 9 weeks now. I did zero workouts when I was in Key West on vacation .... except turn over in my chair at the beach .... oh and a couple of arm workouts reapplying suntan lotion ... so maybe 8 weeks total. I feel like I'm having good results with the program and they are wicked fast and just plain wicked so I'm planning on sticking with it for at least another 4 weeks or so. I get bored with programs pretty quickly and I have not with this one, so that's a big plus.
Hey MetFan!
Google Gironda 8x8 and you'll get a good idea of the program. Very fast workouts ... you're supposed to complete them in 45 minutes or less and have no more then 30 second rest periods and I've never been so sore in my entire life when I started the program. It's supposed to help lean you out with a minimum of muscle loss, and I think it's working for me. I'd love to hear your opinion if you do give it a try. Throw it in for a week just for a change of pace!
You can't imaging how many times I feel like puking during leg day. I honestly am just now able to get through it. The first month I couldn't even finish leg day and I've been training with weights for about 7 years........
It sure helps with this

Hey Inferno! Great to have you Thanks!
You know it
I've never tried anything by AppNut. So far I'm impressed! I'm a teensy bit OCD (teensy ) so graphs and monitoring stuff is just right up my OCD alley!
Um ... I've seen what you lift my friend. Well one advantage to the 8 x 8 is that I can walk over to those 12 lb bad boy DBs and be like ..... hey, I'm gonna do like a million so there
X rated app costs an extra $4.99

OMG Slept sooooooooooo good last night!!! Check this out ~
Check out the 7 hours!!!
I'm pretty sure that one blip there early in the morning was my dog jumping on the bed to take it over I have a huge king-size bed and a cat and a 65lb Golden Retriever and those two animals can hog that bed like nobody's business .... get off!!!!
Here's a comparison of night 1 on HG4 UP and night 2 ......
First night on HG4 UP ... kind of restless all night long ...
and last night ..... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Pretty cool, huh!
At this point, I'm sticking with 3 capsules a night instead of 4. It's working well! I'm pretty sore today from that leg workout, but my DOMS will usually be the worst the 2nd day, so I'll wait to gauge my recovery.
Happy Wednesday!Caring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.

Oh my, you have sculpted some lovely ASSets.
Not sure I am ready to picture myself in shorts such as those, and umm, well, you are doing such a wonderful job modelling yours, that might have to suffice. Pardon me, I am Canadian, I don't know what I am going on abooty.
Excuse me, just remembered that it's time for unnamed forearm exercises.Blood......Sweat........RESPECT!!!!!

Thanks, Ant! I'll actually be 57 in about a month!
I've always played sports, but I didn't start to seriously lift weights until about 7 years ago when a soccer injury put me in physical therapy and I quit running. Had to do something, so I hit the weight room and never looked back. Best thing I ever did for myself
Thank you, Kenshin
Yes, I'm having great success with much improved sleep on HG4-Up. Had some interesting dreams last night too!
