Tyler the Creator
Obviously some people will say they don't like him, but he went from being some random, weird, creepy ass mother fuker from the hypebeast forums into somebody with hundreds of millions of youtube views within just a few years... I'd call that blowing up, srs

I never said Eminem's new stuff is amazing. I'm talking about the last rapper to blow up and I used Jay Z falling off as an example of how weak today's rappers are since he is still among the best despite falling off. Jay Z was a superstar rapper when he first came out.
And I have listened to born sinner. It's solid, not spectacular. He has a really good song here and there. He just sounds like a god because of how weak rap is right now in terms of actual talent. I don't think he is lyrically up to par to be a superstar and none of his other attributes really stand out enough to make up for it. For example, Tupac wasn't an insane lyricist, but his delivery, emotion, storytelling, and persona were legitimately phenomenal.

kendrick lamar.
LOL@ j cole. the guy is a "harder" version of drake who cant sing. what a joke. his only hits are sappy love songs which i would NEVER be caught dead listening to alone. only in the club while im drunk having a bish grind on me. that doesnt count as real rap/hiphop, more like hipPOP.
earl sweatshirt/tyler the creater ofgof***gotry w.e the group is called are all 13 y/o *******s. phuck them too. although i do like some of their producing.

Fapping is like food... It shouldn't be enjoyed as a reward, but rather a means to not kill yourself.

kendrick lamar is the ONLY bigtime rapper right now who is young and actually has true skill. hes actually on a whole different level that just about evreyone out right now. jay z couldnt even come close to him on bitch dont kill my vibe remix. also his lyrics are gritty yet intelligent. he can reach all audiences. doesnt relly on the same ol played out "love song/bling bling" bullchit that most "rappers" tend to fall back to in order to have a hit.

OP's right, can't think of anyone other than Em and maybe early 50. Kendrick is up there in today's world but idk if he's "blown up" to that level yet or ever will.
Always rustles my jimmies thinking about when everybody was all up on Lil Wayne's dik when TC3 came out, with the whole best rapper alive bullchitBarely use FB, deleted Twitter, never had an Instagram crew
