Keep the woke BS out of F1...
The FIA clarifies free speech rule after fierce backlash from Lewis Hamilton and drivers
Formula 1′s governing FIA has said drivers will be allowed to make political statements only in “exceptional” circumstances after seeking to clarify its contentious new law.
The sporting federation recently updated its rules to prevent “political, religious or personal” remarks being made without prior approval.
However, the FIA has attracted a fierce backlash from a number of drivers — with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton this week insisting he will not be silenced, and Lando Norris accusing F1′s rulers of treating drivers like schoolchildren.
In an attempt to clarify the law — which has threatened to cast a shadow over the new season — the FIA has responded with a three-page document sent to the grid’s 10 teams on Friday.
The document says drivers will still be able to “express their views on any political, religious or personal matter” in “their own space,” and outside of a race, via their social media channels or during an interview.

These cars look so good in testing HNNNGG. Is the rear wing lower than last year?? Cars look tighter somehow.
Lmfao. Gotta be able to virtue signal! Look at my rainbow helmet! I'm such a good person!
Literally drives a car for millions of dollars.... Is there any record of how much he volunteers his time & donates his money to these causes? Exactly.
It's fun seeing GOATlonso's championship odds shift from +18000 to +5000 after testing. Hopefully this will be a better season with waaayyyyy more teams getting podiums. Obv max is gonna be a runaway train, but I think more faces in top 3 would be hella fun.
Lol. To be fair, props to haas for basically burning through his wealth for this. Pretty alpha.Spoiler alert; you die at the end.

If Alonso is finishing top 5 consistently, I'm gonna be hyped. I think it's very possible. McLaren look ATROCIOUS. Lando probably can't wait to go to Audi in 2026 and Piastri probably regrets his decision with Alpine. I think front of the mid-field will end up AM vs Alpine.
Don't sleep on Ferrari. I really think they can fight for constructor if Vasseur does a half way decent job.NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS

Same. Used to be a huge McLaren fan too especially in the Dennis era. Now they’re a bunch of woke cucks. That homo chit they did with that fat talk show ******* was really the last straw for me.
I think Checo is too good of a #2 for RBR. I’d love to see Ric back - he should have stayed at Renault/Alpine.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Lando on RBR. I have a good feeling McLaren will be even bigger ass than last year. They’re a joke. They should have sold to Audi. They sealed their fate as a backmarker.NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS

Poor excuse.
What happened at Renault? What about at Red Bull when Max was performing as good, if not better than him when Daniel was witth the team for longer? Is the excuse always that the car "isn't built for him"?
Love Daniel as a person, but something along the way fell off for the dude as a driver. No good excuses for it. He fell off.
Edit: Regardless, it looks like McLaren has built another mediocre car. Lando could be with Red Bull right now. He chose to stay with McLaren. Scared to be Max's teammate IMO. Not that I can blame him. Right now, Max's form is the absolute best on the grid, and it's not even close for anyone else. He's on another planet from the rest of the guys. At McLaren, Lando can stay on easy street as the star driver.
Unless Checo is just horrendous, he isn't going anywhere this season. He's too good of a number 2 driver. He's good enough to usually score good points towards the constructors, but usually not good enough that he's a headache for the team to deal with fighting with Max for P1's and 2's.

Fixed that for you. He destroyed his career the moment he decided to leave Red Bull. He hasn't performed the same in any car since.
I'd love to know what his mindset was for leaving. Because Red Bull to Renault is 100% dumbass ****. The only two things that could have been on his mind were:
- money
- At Renault he could be number 1 where it was clear that Red Bull was beginning to prioritize Max over him (how can you blame them when Max was starting to out perform him).
I love how Daniel says one of the main reason for leaving Red Bull was "things keep happening at races outside my control" pointing to all the DNF's from Renaults garbage engine - - - - then he joins the fking team that's providing the garbage engine, where he continued to have DNF's due to the garbage engine. Can't make this **** up lmfao.

There is no doubt that @AstonMartinF1built a gem... better than the RedBull in the braking zones while carrying a very similar rear wing!
ALO clocked a time 1.1s slower than PER, and most of the gap was due to the higher drag and lower downforce (look at the faster corners)

I can't imagine anyone but Hamilton fanboys being upset if we get an Alonso fighting for the title, the guy is a legend and one of the best ever, he deserves one more run. There is but one path....we kill them all.

We'll see. It's testing. Some teams literally still don't show all parts until race weekend. Not to mention there's far too much you don't know. Between engine tunes, fuel levels, etc etc, testing tells very very little.
If we went off of testing last year, Haas had a car in the fastest top 2 two of the three days, and Alpha Romeo had the number 1 fastest car the first day...and we know how that all I worked out for both of them... I wouldn't take much of anything that testing shows for performance very seriously. At best, you can get an idea of who has solved porpoising issues.
We'll see who really has what when we get to qualifying in 6 days.

Team Max crew
Guy is just godtier.
I like AM but fckn hate that the billionaire puts his kid in the seat.
Isn't porsche joining formula 1? Thought I'd seen that somewhere. Will be switching to team porsche crew if that happens.
Surprised Ford doesn't try do their own team as the American flagship.
Also wonder why the ****tier teams didn't try give ricciardo a shot with them instead of wasting away in red bulls Back ground.Last edited by Gringo12; 03-01-2023 at 06:08 PM.

Audi is taking over Alfa Romeo in 2026.
Porsche was looking for someone to team up with as an engine provider only. They were working a deal with Red Bull, but it sounds like they wanted more control than Red Bull was willing to give. So deal fell through.
**** tier teams can’t afford Daniel’s $10,000,000+ a year asking price.
**** tier teams don’t have a talent problem anyway. They have car problems. No one on those teams is underperforming compared to what the cars are capable of, so none of those teams are going to pay for someone like Daniel to sit in their car every weekend and still place bottom 8.Last edited by R3L3NTL3SS; 03-01-2023 at 07:54 PM.
