but why?
just kidding
whatever works!
on tracking...
I went without tracking and ate totally intuitively during December and January. I maintained just fine, but I could not drop any weight, and I am still tryin' to cut into the 160s.
Started tracking last Monday, and the scale is moving again. It works. For me anyways.
Welcome!

I honestly feel that the people in this losing fat section fall off the wagon way too fast.. let's say not even a full week of consistent progress.. which is why you see so many people just stop logging.. or they log saying they messed up but justify the reasons why
A huge part of it is being impatient & also starting out way too aggressively. If you did things wrong for so many years of your life.. it takes months to fix
I have been a fat 190 lbs twice in my life.. where I needed to get back down to the 140's to get lean.. I know/understand the struggle
Lastly, everyone goes through hard times but your fitness goals don't know what you are going through.. you either want it or you don't.
I do really like this section. The biggest people make the most dramatic transformations!

But really even if people mess up the best thing they can do IMO is keep posting.
Mainly because I feel if you are consistently posting there is more of a chance for you to keep getting back on track.
For me 4 weeks dieting and last weekend and a day found me not on track.
But I feel because I want to keep posting that I HAD to get back on track so I am not that person who just gives up.
To be honest if I can go 4 weeks again and then a few mistake filled days, I would be happy.
Since over that time I will still be losing weight and learning more as I go.
