I found out something about newbtime i wish i never knew. He has never had a cheeseburger in his life, only a hamburger. When i got a cheeseburger to eat and told him "You should have one its awesome" and he looked like he was going to puke.
WTF is wrong with you Jon Edler? You don't drink you don't eat cheeseburger.................you hate America?

Well, he didn't bomb...but he learned that meet conditions are far different than gym conditions. It's one thing to hit a PR in the gym, it's another to do it at a meet. He can blame it on all the excuses he wants...but those things are common problems people experience when they compete.
That being said, if he'd get into gear and compete at collegiate Nationals (not sure if he goes to college or not) he could get 1st place in his weight division, and then, off to Worlds.

uhh, fail?
I fully understood the difference of picking an ideal day to max out in the gym and getting up and doing it on a predetermined date, long before yesterday.
many things went bad that weren't typical of competition.... and im getting tired of mentioning it because its done with now.
but I want to total 1800 in wraps @ 275 before I turn 20... Might do the beau moore classic but I dont think they allow wraps, and I cant find anything regarding their rulesLast edited by Newbtime; 02-01-2010 at 01:46 PM.
