Yeah people seem to like the texturing, just not how they felt like they had to put "Grip Zone" on it. lol
One thing I am a fan of, though, is fiber optic sights from the factory. Just my personal opinion, but I'd take fiber optic sights on all my pistols from the factory if I could. I don't like how they did a fiber optic front with the two dot sights on back. I like my fiber optic sights with a plain black rear.

I like fiber optic front sights on a shotgun, never had one on a pistol. It actually seems like some good updates to the gun, except for the tactical operator lettering. I don't know why handgun makers have this thing about putting stupid words and pics all over their handguns. I can think of a dozen handguns I would have bought if it wasn't for some stupid phrase on the barrel or slide.

That's impressive. I'm sure it couldn't handle a mag full. Notice they stopped short of that. They never tell you how many rounds it can handle.

That paint job is fugly as anything, IMO. I am surprised that it's capable of 1.5MOA at 1000 yards though. Had no idea there were semi-auto gas operated rofls capable of that kind of accuracy at that distance.

The M110 is even more accurate and comes in a better package. The Army will phase out the M14 EBRs for M110s. The Regiments already use them and several conventional units use them as well. It's an overall better platform.

That kind of accuracy w/ that caliber is something I would expect out of a bolt gun. I'm not familiar with the M1A series of rifles though.

Impressive for a 60 year old design.

Some rifles can be painted. I wouldn't paint a $3,000+ rifle though.

The vast majority of WW2 era and up 7.62 rifles are capable of minute of man accuracy at 500-600 yards. 1000 yards is a whole different story though.

Pretty windy conditions, but he's doing a decent job hitting the plate. That's a standard bbl in a fiberglass stock with some accurizing done to the gas system. I didn't see him mention a match trigger.

1000 yds is getting out to the edge of the rifle's range though, since the rounds start to enter transsonic velocities and the groups open up.

1000 yards is close to the edge of the round's capability, not just the M1A. The longest confirmed kill with 7.62x51 was by Army sniper SSG Jim Gilliland with an M24 at 1367 yards.

I never shot the M14 beyond 1000 yards, that was the max we fired at but I believe it could still shoot minute of man at 1100, providing the conditions were decent.

We've had limas forever (bravos don't jump well) along with 320s, carl gustavs, all kinds of weird ****. Were getting some new electronic earpro/commo system that even every joe will have. Just plain saws though

I was pressing them running through the seating die, and seeing them on the table in front of me. I measured the first, then passed the next two without thinking and speed myself wondering why the hell I just did that. I'll pull them and start over.

I checked the rest of them and made sure i didn't do it any other times.
