first thing, aint many real cowboys here in dallas , just because you have wranglers and a hat ,dont mean you been on a horse , or rode a bull ,and those words have never came out of my mouth yet

Yeah...I know they are feral hogs, but folks bow hunt em in other areas all the time.

yea the breast is all that is good on a dove and then you have to eat a bunch to get full ,, i soak then in a marinade , then slice the breast, slide fresh jalapeno in and then wrap with bacon and grill , very good

I do that with venison. Get a meat mallet...pound it thin. Put cream cheese in the jalepeno, wrap in marinated venison, wrap with bacon..grill

i think the season is around nov, oct , i will llook , i remember my ex husbands parents town had so many they ahd like big hog hunting parties , then would have a big bbq in town square ,, and this was usually around end of october ,, and the hogs look like taller skinnier domesticated hogs

well, I've not been successful so I may not be the best to give advice, but how I've done it was you find wallows or places where they scratch their bodies on trees (you can tell from the mud on the trees) and you sit for em.

I do know some people stalk them.

Heck, in texas you probably sit over the corn like ya do deer hunting

i have a friend and he feeds them and as a time lapse camera set up and they sit in a stand and shoot them ,, kinda unfair to the hogs i think
