Had the Orange Dreamsicle with skim milk tonight and they have the flavor nailed down. I haven't had one of those since I was a kid but you don't forget those types of flavors.

Yeah OD is my favorite flavor from the ISO-100 line. Been saying people need to branch out from chocolate and vanilla and give this a shot.

Just read both of your Kasein review and I concur on everything. I received it and reviewed as well. Stuff is softer than a hotel throw pillow and mixes thicker than any casein I have used. Should bake up perfectly

I thought casein acts somewhat denser in baked goods, and that's why people usually recommend to bake with whey. I've only used whey or blends for baking, never a casein. How do you find they handle cooking / baking?

Any good recipes?

For me casein bakes good in muffins and nut breads, seems to come out without that protein texture. So it's still airy.

I use whey for the stove top like pancakes and it holds well.

I use blends for most everything but have some casein set aside for when I get a Spring Form Pan to make cheesecake with. I had been just using ready made graham cracker crusts.

Thanks for the feedback here. Our three were the only ones not 10 out of 10 in everything.

Thanks dazed! I used True Grit's Micellar Whey to bake a pumpkin pie cheesecake last thanksgiving and it held up well. I have a tub of vanilla casein lying around that I wasn't sure what to use it with. Now I know it's good to go for turkey day again in a few weeks!
