These two are pretty versatile and should cost less than $100

I would then get a few warm weather fragrances based on what you like from stores

Your pretty set for most occasions with the two you already have. I'd add a darker "night" out scent like La nuit, The One, Noir Extreme, Pure Malt/Havane, CH Men or DHI. With your budget I'd get one or two of the night out scents and decent sized decant of Aventus which IMO is essential in any collection.

No idea what constitutes a day/night scent, sexy/professional scent etc etc etc. so how do I go about choosing what cologne to wear and when??

LOL. Most people wear lighter/fruitier fragrances during the day and heavier/gourmand fragrances in the evening as the heat of the sun could make the heavier fragrances cloying.

Seems to be one of the least popular from the house, (fairly generic spicy/fresh fragrance) but if you plan on collecting its probably worth the buy since the deal is really good. If you do buy it, expect it to be high quality and very well blended. I would try out Reflection Man, Memoir Man, or Dia Man if you want to try something from Amouage. These are 3 of the safer scents as some of the others are extremely complex and a little bit more daring.

Yeah, I didn't plan on blind buying but it's so tempting. I don't think there's any place that carries it near where I live so I cant even test it. But thanks for the input guys.

It will make sense when you smell them

Some are super sweet which might be weird for the workplace for example

Others like black orchid are just weird all the time

when i had a MI sample i put it in a 10ml decant i had of aventus. coppped a lot of compliments with the 1 night i had with it and i hardly ever get compliments.

dont have the decant anymore.. poured it into a bottle of unscented lubriderm.

Tried Aventus and MI once and it was horrible. One of the few times I've actually scrubbed a scent off of me. The other times were all when I tried forcing myself to like Interlude Man.

Should be ok as long as you don't use a lot of sprays. Its not he most masculine fragrance though so be careful of what kind of an impression you may give of in such a "macho" environment. I personally would not wear any frag to an interview, but that's just me.
