cheers dave. it was a lot longer before I got a haircut last week, got the barber to trim it with a 2 and found the length to be satisfactory so i'll just keep it tight so i don't look homeless.
aye i know, I wanted to see the last grinder too because i'm sure the bar travelled way up over my upper chest, almost felt like a trip to snap city.
you aren't mistaken, that's my new stance. I enjoy it, but phal has said I could work on keeping my head and chest up a bit moreBJJ / Greyskull LP log

100cals Warm up cardio
Squats
5 x 97.5kg
5 x 115kg
5 x 130kg
Piss poor. For one I forgot that it was still the 1+ week so I went ahead and did my 5+ set. I decided to do the same for OHP, so next Friday i'll just do Squat/OHP 1+ instead of 5+
For two I only got 5 reps despite this. I've got a cold and was super hungry so I won't let it bother me too much.
OHP
5 x 37.5kg
5 x 42.5kg
5 x 47.5kg
Just about hit the minimum reps.
Reverse Grip Pulldowns
Was a bit pushed for time and I hadn't trained since Tuesday so I thought i'd spike some MPS in ma back, plus I just love this exercise. Got a curvy bar attachment that allows me to get the most amazing pump in my lats. hnnnggg gonna be lots of sets of this done when I get to bulking

DL looked real solid - Harry are you doing a conventional DL with a sumo arm positioning or are you doing a sumo DL completely?
Solid workout. Squats and OHP = solid workout lol. I personally use my versa grips for any cable back work. I feel like it more about the muscle being worked and less about the weight lifted in those situations. My log

Thanks man, it's a cross between sumo and conventional. sumventional if you will (that's the word for it not my creation), think it works really well for me.
yeah absolutely there's no sense in lifting with your ego, especially on cable work where it means nothing anyway.
i just snapped some progress pics and although i know i've not been dieting properly again this past month i'm starting to feel small as hell... Perhaps it's time to bulk again, make me some mo' gainsBJJ / Greyskull LP log

Dietting's overrated......... haha but this time around I suggest you set yourself a minimum time e.g 6-9 months to bulk where NO MATTER WHAT you cannot stop bulking until you hit that date.
May help motivate to bulk slow as

lol i see. yeah back is something i'm definitely starting to focus on the MMC alot more on.
pics below, i didn't really entertain the idea of bulking again seriously. I know better by this stage than to make those decisions while hungover and hungry.
it's grand, OHP is the only thing i've had to reset so far. Kinda frustrating tho today only hit 5 reps of my 5+ weight.
i just went on as planned, havent properly deloaded yet either which is definitely on the cards for the end of this cycle.
Pics, gonna post comparisons of now and the 12th of December to motivate myself a bit. Though I really haven't lost much (or half enough)

nah i haven't even been trying on this cut, too much fuking about and having days where I don't hit protein and just go over calories because I feel like it. I'm determined to lose another bit off my waistline before bulking again.
thanks musid but that's just the thing, there's been no dedication. Need to dial it in now, got some decent tasting whey so that'll definitely help.BJJ / Greyskull LP log

don't worry bro, pics show a great amount of progress. just remember, if and when you get fed up, ask yourself what you can do in the situation? one option is to push through the pain of slow progress (ergh dealing with this myself lol)... it can be a long ass process that can kill motivation, but the only other option is to give up and live with unsatisfaction
i like hearing that determination, and honestly can say ive had that exact thing happen numerous times (not hitting pro, going over cals). it can be hard as fck to balance life and lifting goals.

so true my upside down brah, the only option is the obvious one. push ahead! plus I haven't even added any cardio yet, gonna start that soon. Plenty of fat to shift before i'm content bulking
appreciated, i'd just rather get below 15% first.
on that note, anyone care to guess my current bf?BJJ / Greyskull LP log

Squat 1+ day because I did 5+ day when I should've been maxing
5 x 115kg
3 x 130kg
2 x 145kg
Except I was spotted, i'm not even confident I could've gotten the first if not for the spotter. I voiced this concern and he just said 'you only think that'.
We'll see next cycle I suppose
OHP
I'm sick of my chitty pathetic OHPing numbers, there's absolutely no reason to stay on 531 programming for it and so i've switched back to 3x5 LP.
