Ordered two packages of 30 rolls of toilet paper (Costco size) from Amazon. It was supposed to be delivered today. A small box was left on my front porch containing a pink bear we ordered for one of the kids. The Amazon delivery driver took a photo of the small box containing the pink bear to show that he delivered 60 rolls of toilet paper. Guess I'm heading to Costco Thursday morning...
I contacted Amazon and offered to provide a photo of the delivery person from my front camera, etc. They provided a refund and said it would be escalated. I stated that he probably stole it to resell for profit.

Gym still open here but all restaurants & bars shut down. Restaurants can remain open for takeout/delivery only. Schools are closed for a 3 week minimum.
Social media is of course in a complete uproar but ultimately people weren't going to do the right thing on their own so right now my general dislike of people is overruling my dislike of government overreach. My routine changes little because my wife and I aren't super social anyway. We love takeout. My closest friends for the most part are work friends and most of my hobbies are largely unaffected. Motorcycle season is pretty much here...which I do solo. Range trips will get dialed back just due to ammo availability.

Dear LA Fitness Customier,
We have been carefully monitoring the information and guidelines being made available regarding the COVID-19 virus. In order to do our part in the efforts to flatten the curve and impact of this virus, we have made the very difficult decision to close the operations of all our clubs beginning Monday, March 16, until at least April 1, 2020."

Surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet, but six counties in the Bay Area have issued shelter in place orders for all non-essential workers. That's seven MILLION people. Fukin retarded. We are still working tomorrow. I'm going to throw my Glock 26 in my earthquake bag and pack it in my trunk. People here are dumb as fuk and will do some stupid chit as they're told they can't go to work or leave their homes. What stupid fuk thought shutting down seven million people with zero plan was a good idea?
If we're shut down at work the entire company could shut down. Just ridiculous.
That's retarded.
You're talking about lives here. You're talking about business owners being told to just shut down everything they built with no reimbursement. It's not going to happen. You want me to not go to work and then become homeless because I can't pay my bills? Absolutely retarded.
Wat. My dad is a Marshal and two things. 1. They're not doing that. 2. That wouldn't even be the Marshals' job lol. They deal with two very specific duties, neither of which is remotely similar to a national quarantine.'
If something like that did happen it would be the National Guard under Marshall Law.

I just want to point out that there is no such thing as "Marshall Law".
It's "Martial Law", martial meaning stemming from the military.Florida Crew as of 3/21

Saw that, I am expecting a massive panic for pretty much the reasons you pointed out.
Few confirmed cases in counties/areas near me but nothing local, nothing closed here. If nothing else I don't need to worry about work, they can't close; if we test positive we get 14 days covered (wont burn our own time) off. I also banked enough time to take 4 months straight off if needed but I am racking up the OT for now while I can.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

CO gov dropped the hammer today. Ski areas shut down a few days ago. Today ordered all restaurants & bars closed to sit-in dining--can do takeout and delivery. Gyms all ordered closed. Theaters closed. For a month . . . to start.
https://www.denverpost.com/2020/03/1...ts-dmv-closed/
Gov. Jared Polis ordered bars, restaurants and other large gathering places across Colorado to close for the next 30 days in an aggressive new push to slow the spread of the coronavirus, as Denver and state leaders warned of dire consequences if the outbreak isn’t brought under control.
The governor’s order Monday afternoon also will shutter theaters, casinos and gyms statewide. Restaurants and bars still will be allowed to offer carry-out, delivery and room service options, but no in-person dining.
The closures, economically perilous but designed to stymie person-to-person transmission of the new coronavirus, are effective 8 a.m. Tuesday.
“There will be a time when we want to celebrate those local small businesses again,” Polis said at a news conference. “When it’s safe, we want to celebrate in bars and clubs. We want to dine out. That day is not today, it’s not tomorrow, it’s not likely to be next week or the week after.”*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

I have a pair of 90 lb Powerblocks, a pretty lame barbell kit (got it for the kids) but it will work for some stuff. Decent bench. An Airdyne and a treadmill. So I'll have to make due, but should be fine. I also have my old Body Solid home gym over at mom's--been there since we moved in 2006. It has a lat pulldown, pec deck, low row and overhead cable thing.
Will also just have to do a bunch of pushups and bench dips.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*
