The worst was visiting a town which looked rough as hell, I went to the mcdonalds and all the staff appeared to be on drugs and the food was disgusting.

The general place looked like it hadn't been maintained since the 80's.

I haven't visited Russia yet, it's on my list. From what i've seen it looks nice and has culturally interesting regions, Siberia, Caucas, White European regions.
