^ Looks so awful, sounds so good.
My weight loss rate cut in half this month. I was going strong at ~8lbs/month. I'm still considered "overweight," and thought I'd stay at that rate for a little bit longer ;\ Going to try IF, other than that I'm lost. Total mindfuark to me. I am hitting the gym hard as ever too.

Somewhere in the vicinity of 2 to 4 liters per day. I've only had 1 bottle so far today. That's, like........ major.
According to the MRI, it's considered a major tear again. There's severe subluxation of my Tibia... meaning something like it twists and moves out past my knee during some motions. That's why I have so much trouble doing anything. I'm getting a knee brace so I can do sports again (YAY!) and if that doesn't provide enough support I have to have the knee surgery done again (I'm scheduling it in my mind for October 2013 lol).
I WILL play football next season
I actually just laughed out loud, for realzBluePrint Believer!

Damn, girl. Congrats on limiting yourself. As to the injury, you had PT already? Any chance for more? Seems like you could benefit from extended services. As much as I know you're looking forward to playing again, this screams "career (or hobby) ending injury" if it's not taken care of. Love, Mom. (which might be funnier if my screen name didn't already have "mom" in it).

Had such a great run, some light rain and no hints of heat! Running in the rain always reminds me of childhood, of all the times I played in the rain with my mom shouting and grounding me upon getting back. And still going back every single time
Also broke my previous record having run 14 milesSomething quite unexpected happened though. As I was running some random guy just honks at me and gives me a thumbs up! 100% sure I didn't know him, and it sure gave me a heck of a boost of confidence, taking that as a "you're doing a great job, keep it up!"

Decided to start riding the bike to and from the gym. Its only about five miles away and should have me warmed up by the time I get there. Makes no sense to me to drive there and jump on a stationary bike to warm up when I have a bike already.
Today is one of my favorite workout days- back & biceps. Bout to make it happen.

Stayed up too late watching the game... Missed the ending though... I watched up to where GB just took the lead.
Rough morning... running quite late... off to work I go! Should have the food situation alright there though.BluePrint Believer!

Missed this earlier in my quick rush out the door this morning lol.
Yea... I originally tore the ACL in a football accident (June 13 2009). I had ACL reconstruction surgery on that knee (May 31st 2010), and then I had a scope a year later (Sept 28 2011) where they discovered the cadavar graft had been ripped in the front, so it was a "half tear". I had an MRI schedule the same time I scheduled the knee scope so we could get a full picture as well because I knew something else was wrong. After the MRI (January 27 2012), I scheduled a second-opinion consult with a more knowledgeable surgeon (the guy that taught the guy that did my graft everything, so I hear), and I finally got my MRI results - considered a full tear, even though the scope showed only partial. It's useless though. My tibia bone moves forward and twists during some motions, which is why I can't run (extension = faceplant). "Severe Subluxation". So my options were get a brace, or get surgery again. I got the brace, it looks like it's not too bulky compared to some I've seen before. I see the surgeon again in 2 months so he can see how the brace is going, and I can probably schedule a surgery with him then for in the future (after next football season, unless the brace is doing nothing).
I have a friend who is a physiotherapist who is supposed to hook me up with some great PT folks (she's in Montreal), but I know a lot of exercises and such still from my two previous surgeries and plan to incorporate the strengthening exercises into my everyday life...
That's pretty much the full story, if anyone has any other questions or would like some other deets feel free to ask.BluePrint Believer!

Love this! Bike ride to gym is a great option, I only live about a mile from my gym, but I ride the bike there too, super practical for mutiple reasons! Hope it continues to work out for you, sucks when it is raining just a heads up ;o). How was the Back and bi workout for you? My fav as well!
Rough day so far for me too and it is not even 10:30 am. Good thing I forced myself to hit the gym yesterday before work because as I expected, I was not willing to do anything after work. I did not even know I was tired, but I was in bed and asleep by 8:45 pm last night and slept all the way through the morning ( I usually pee about 36 times throughout the night). Turned off alarm clock and woke up to leaf blowers at 8:30 am. Yea just under 12 hours of sleep, was LATE to work, AND woke up with a sore throat that I thought I got rid of last weekend/. Just got to work and am sipping on HOT tea, hope to keep calories down since I am feeling like dog snot. I will work out today after work being that I did not get up this morning, but I hope I do not just make whatever sickness my body is fighting worse.

Loving the ride there. Not so much the ride back. Lol I gotta remember to leave some energy for the ride home. The workout was successful. Thanks for asking. Hope you feeling better. Hot tea is a wonderful thing. I actually just bought some more oolong tea. Love that stuff. Enjoy your day.> OBF Fall 2012 Transformation
