Because Bitcoin was the first to market. Strong brand that people are hanging onto. The supply cap of 21 million is also something which is easy to understand and it causes attraction to Bitcoin. No one can really for sure predict what will be bigger than Bitcoin. DYOR

There are lots of reasons. BTC isn’t just first to market, it’s an extremely solid and stress tested POW blockchain for store of value. You’d have to argue why it shouldn’t be the digital SOV coin.

As an everyday currency though, there are POS competitors.

BTC and ETH for example are addressing completely different areas, via decentralized blockchain solutions. You should view ETH as a platform.

Every 6 months or when BTC is bullish these comments come out. Last year it was the G12 economic forum wanting to clamp down on crypto and regs, and the year before that same old BS.

I got too cocky boyos. Wiped out some of yesterdays gains with some bad trades. My visualization technique didn´t work so well today. I will have to rework my approach. The mind must be at rest when doing crypto visualization. Still in the green this week though. Thank you vishnu

Regulations are coming tho. The weak cryptos will die!! Only the adaptable will survive.

Did anybody listen? DOT is about to take over the #4 spot from XRP. It is a very srs project that has been in development for several years now but just launched this past summer. Gavin Wood is behind it and he's the guy that invented the solidity programing language, helped create ethereum and was the guy who made the ethereum virtual machine. There will be real demand for DOT and KSM very soon. Projects will need to acquire DOT and KSM to participate in the candle auctions in order to gain a parachain slot on the network. This will be done through parachain lease offerings where you can trade your KSM/DOT for tokens from the various projects and the projects will use them to bid for spots on the network. There is already a massive ecosystem ready to go. This isn't a "eth killer" it is designed to work with eth and other projects and provide security and interoperability between different blockchains. I am particularly bullish on KSM right now as it is the test network and will launch first. 10 million supply with tokens being locked up with staking and tokens will be locked up when a project wins an auction and get a lease.
