Also I'm in favor of reverse standings for draft order obviously.

Would also like the draft night to be on a weekend if at all possible but could we please decide at least 2 weeks in advance so I can make sure I don't have to work that night? I got royally fuqued last year cause of working late on draft night.

They are being drafted in round 10+. You have just already made your first selection. We all have. That's what the 10+ keeper is.

Yes the 5th round of this draft is the 11th round but its because you already drafted your first 10+ round guy. That is what Im telling you.

thats 6 rounds of players correct? A. yes
then we draft 3 rounds of players to hit 9 rounds of players? A. yes
then will start the TENTH round of THIS YEARS DRAFT correct? A. yes

I don't care about the +10 or the other 5, what matters is that you carry over 6 guys for the first 6 rounds, besides being able to keep anyone that is drafted after round 10 nothing else about it matter.

In short once you keep your 6 guys (round 10+ guy included) they become your frist 6 round picks, making guys that kept strong people stronger and guys that are dumb will struggle

**** here we go again. He problem is most of these guys would be selected in the top 9 rounds. If we take them out we replace them with 14 guys in round 9 that normally wouldn't be there. Leaving a thinner crop of 10+ round keepers that are being drafted in the 11th.

I think moving them up to Round 10 is enough. No reason to move them up to Round 6, we should get 4 new players to choose our top 5 from and just keep the 10+ keeper at round 10 not 6.

here is an ex of what me and saalty are talking about

rnd 1- votto
rnd 2- braun
rnd 3 - kinsler
rnd 4 - hamels
rnd 5 - romero
rnd 6 - rasmus (with a 10+ tag on him)
rnd 7 - rand
rnd 8 - rand
rnd 9 - rand
rnd 10 - rand w/ 10+ tag
and so on


now at the end of the year I can choose to keep Rasmus as my 10+ OR i can take any of the guys i drafted from rnd 10 on this year, that gives you an extra guy that is rnd 10+ eligable, not because we missed a draft round, but because we CARRIED over one from last year that keeps his 10+ status no matter what.

now its clear? yes good, me and saalty are smart.

You know what, it doesn't really even matter if we do it as 4+ or 5+.

Do it as 4+ if you want. It's the incorrect way. But it really is so insignificant I dont even give a f*ck. Most of us who chose a 10+ guy didn't choose him from a round that was on the cusp anyway.

We're arguing over a 1 round difference that really means next to nothing.
