    This was on Friday and my hammies are still trashed, though tbf they couldn't have had much recovery time with the amount of drinking I've done recently.

    Overall since getting the notion of getting gigs around the town with this new band I've been less focused/bothered about training. I'm not gonna skip sessions but i'm not as upset as I usually would be about not getting as many reps as I'd hope. It's a good feel tbh.

    and the guitar I linked somewhere above was sold before I could get my hands on it so i'm picking this up tomorrow night:



    hnnngg cannot wait, despite the fact that it's got passive EMGhz as opposed to active 81/85s for the measly price of £200 I can say nothing. Then later down the line if it holds up i'll throw some active EMGs in it. hnnngggg

    so you've probably noticed by my last few posts that i've been losing motivation in the gym in general. Nothing really has changed on that front except that I've thought about it and realized that i've pretty much been consistent since last January and have felt since then that this is something i'd never lose my drive for, and now with the new girl im seeing and practicing guitar a lot more/band practices it feels like its slipping.

    what i'm realizing now is that up til now it's been easy to stay consistent, not a challenge, but now it's becoming more of a challenge. It just means i'll have to try harder, stop bitching and just do it. It helps that I haven't been tracking cals for basically the past week and i'm still down to 193ish. Cutting should be easy now cause i'm rarely thinking about food as i'm kept pretty busy.

    Deadlifts today, and i've just risen from a 12 hour sleep. Going to eat some food beforehand too to see how I get on.

    Ended up missing squats/OHP this week due to drinking a lot and basically being a *******. I'll just take it as a faux deload and get back to it on Monday. Going to focus more on getting my brotein in because I really haven't been getting enough lately, probably like 100g a day give a little.

    aye i'm a bit disappointed I haven't been gaining a little, but as you can see I haven't been giving my training or nutrition 100% of late.

    Deadlifts today, and i'll be away on Wednesday til Friday (yes more partying, but the last of it now before work begins) so I think i'll do my 5/3/1 bench as well plus one or two extra back + chest accessories.

    5/3/1 Cycle 3 3+ Week

    Deadlift

    3 x 110kg
    3 x 125kg
    5 x 140kg

    Not too bad since that workout a few weeks ago where I hadn't slept and couldn't even move 145kg for one rep.

    Next week for my 1+ week i'll be doing 150kg, which will be the most i've ever put on the bar for anything.


    Bench Press

    3 x 60kg
    3 x 72.5kg
    8 x 82.5kg

    This felt like a good bench day, especially considering i'd just got done deadlifts.


    Chinups

    5 x BW +10kg
    4 x BW +10kg
    6 x BW


    Dips

    2 x 10 x BW


    Ab Roller

    2 x 8

    Bit pushed for time at the end but all in all I consider this a good workout.

    Pooooooorrrr.. Seems like I might need to reset 10% in a cycle or two or maybe it was an off day. We'll see. 3 Plates for my 1+ set next week.

    So today I feel like chit after being out drinking again last night. Really looking forward to getting into routine with starting this job tomorrow morning. All I seem to want to do is sleep/laze about and it's a chitty feel.

    Trying out a new gym closer to my work tomorrow, it's a lot more commercial than mine and much busier so we'll see how that goes.
