Bishop is a cool little town! Gets kind of hot in summer but so nice in spring and fall. They have awesome food there too - the smoked meats place where you get the jerky makes a fantastic BLT and then there's also Burger Barn. You need a camping trip for sure.

It really is, there was a place selling a variety of local honey last time I was up there, just lots of really good stuff. I really do need a camping trip, and some fishing, and a day or two canoeing/kayaking...I just really need some outdoors time that doesn't involve sitting in San Diego traffic.

Finally was able to do these without any discomfort and get some decent depth. If my shoulder holds up, I'll be using blocks next time.

Haven't done these in a very long time. When I finished my lower back was feeling odd. Like a muscle spasm that burned every few seconds. Fortunately after the next few sets of the next exercises, when I was standing around...I moved my hips a certain way and I could feel something go back into place. After that, no issues.

Played around with handstands after these. Was different trying a handstand with the support being lower on the leg. Made it easier to maintain posture.

Chiropractor appointment went well. He did a bit of work on the back shoulder near the shoulder blade. There was a bit of a knot there. Then he worked further on the shoulder. Plus he did a number adjusting my neck. Felt great coming out of there. Was incredible to get back to doing my hand stand push ups. Finally feel like I'm getting closer to being all healed up...at least with my shoulder. Will be great to not have to worry about that for a while.

Agreed, I feel their insistence helped me to become more open-minded...unlike some yogurt snobs.

My sister decided to hatch the chickens herself I think. Although it wasn't the first time she got a rooster instead of a hen from a local source. Don't know why they don't ask for another chick.

I highly recommend going to one...just make sure you manage to find a good one. I know of plenty that won't help much, other than themselves to your insurance money. But there are just as many that are really good and really, really help.

Thanks. It felt good to be able to hold that for so long. Especially with the one arm hand stands cause when it starts to get close to fatiguing...there is a really good risk of face planting when the elbow gives out.

These were all full ROM with the bar touching my shoulders at the top. Really want to get that muscle up eventually and need to build some strength and comfort at the top of the movement. Started to gas out after the 2nd set.

Very fun gym session. Was messing around with a few of the guys at the gym. That is not a surprised when arm days coordinate. Did manage to get two of them to try shoulder mounts. The one at least got his legs off the ground and into a bit of a tuck. The other one managed to do quite well for his first try...even lowered down into a pretty decent dragon flag. Later on I was playing around with elbow levers on an incline bench just to show off a bit. LOL.

Had to laugh later one. After I was finished what I was planning on doing and one of the other guys left for work. The other guy was near the dumbbell rack doing some curls when 3 people flocked around him and started to do "curling" too. There entire free weight section was completely empty except for him curling...why they all had to flock around him is beyond me. It was like he was swarmed. LOL. After that, he pretty much gave up and got out of there with his life.

Many women that do Pole went to the ******** site that created this meme and posted comments explaining how they find pole dancing to be empowering and that this meme only promotes victim blaming. Turns out the site deleted any comments that didn't agree with their meme and proceed to block all those people that posted.

Only thing I can say about it is WOW!!! Still trying to figure out how doing pole basically is saying it is okay for men to beat up women. Sometimes the level of stupidity of some people still surprises me. This one takes the cake. And to think, I thought Canada was more progressive than this.

Yeah I knocked out some golden papers in the middle of the night, hell my senior thesis on gun control was mostly written the night before the 1st draft was due. I've always been a night person and honestly I think if my work schedule was somewhere along the lines of 5pm-1am I'd be content...minus the obvious issue of disrupting my time with my daughter...as to motivation, hell unless it involves food or racing I rarely have an ounce of that any way.

Yeah I don't think I would even notice, my eating and my entertainment rarely interact, I'd continue gnawing along without even noticing the correlation...

Yeah my parents came from two wildly different backgrounds so it was pretty much guaranteed that there would be some variety in the house even if they didn't intend to actively expose us to a wide variety of foods.
