If we were to ever travel back in time to change anything the act of doing so would mean the act was already done in there present time (the future) thus removing their motivation to do it in the first place. Hence nothing would happen.

If a person were to create said time machine the time traveler could only go back on the date it was created. So if I made a time machine today and 1 year has passed, then I could only travel back 1 year from the time I created the machine.

I'm sure had you mentioned traveling across the world in less than a day to someone 1000 years ago they probably would've laughed at you and called you crazy. Just imagine the sort of power you would have if you brought back a functioning Iphone only 2-300 years into the past, debating stuff like this pretty pointless if you view things from an extremist point of view (i.e it will never happen). Travelling back in time would only send you back to a given moment you choose to go back to during your lifetime. That doesn't include location, so most of those things you listed would be highly unlikely unless you travelled back in time in the same place as hitler was standing to be able to kill him or in Jessica Alba's bed

Say for example, 1000 years from now when time travel is invented, you locate the exact spot that jessica alba's bedroom was located and set up your time travel device to go back to when she was sleeping. Who's to say that wouldn't work?

Time travel is impossible, every second that passes is another dimension with near infinite possibilites and outcomes. What if you ate that cookie? What if you didnt? In the second you decide to eat that cookie you've taken a path and it is impossible to return to the dimension where the cookie remains. If you decide not to eat the cookie then it remains with you in the current path of the present that you chose...there is no going back to the time you decided not to eat it.

Time is a dimension and as such you can travel in it. I don't claim to know if it will ever be possible for humans to do it, but it is still possible.
If we are able to create or communicate with 4th D entity, then we can get it to do the time travel for us.
