I've always struggled with keeping volume low and only doing a few exercises, so just looking at your workout is motivating/inspiring
in the fact that I really DONT have to kill myself in the gym and do 30-35sets and like 10 different chest exercises to see growth.
Gonna try it out today! Good workout brotha!

A few pics from being out of town for a few days...
...Town Hall Brewery...
(epic for those familiar with the IPA craft beer scene)

Masala Mama
Sweet Potato Fries are always a win
...Chipotle...
(first timer...I know...)
...Angel Food Bakery MSP...
Bakery counterpart to Hells Kitchen

All amazing. Also hit up the famed "A Bakers Wife" but neglected to take a pic. Had the "American Tea Cake"
Glueks. Been around since before Prohibition I guess. Pumking on tap...amazing.
Also hit up the Institute of the Arts. Could also post a bunch of pics from there. Great stuff...Van Gogh, Monet, Matisse, etc. The artifacts were amazing as well.Team Never Full

13mi run
Yup. Had my longest run by a LONGSHOT this morning up and down the river. Really had no idea where I was going so winged it. A few of the bridges I had planned on crossing were closed, so the run went MUCH longer than I thought. Guess I could totally do a half if I wanted to. Mapped it out on mapmyrun and couldnt believe the distance. Back home now and looking forward to getting back into the gym tomorrow for deads. We ended up biking and walking quite a bit in the cities, and I really didnt eat to crazy. Still feeling pretty doughy after beverages, sweets etc.
Honestly Ive also been thinking about dialing it back around the forums as well. We shall see...it was nice to get off the net more or less for a few days.Team Never Full

Still dont prefer SLDLs. Still on the hunt for better hammy work.
Thinking about checking out "End of Watch" today. Tons of boxes to check first though. No rest for the wicked. My wife is also getting her bake on, so I have to get the hell out of the house (temptation fail).

Side note. Since I treat this as a journal as much as a nutrition/lifting log I might as well continue to post things I post in other random threads. Picked up Breyers Golden Oreo. Seems to get mixed reviews to the far end of each spectrum. It was on sale, and I dig golden oreos so figured what the hell. If you like Golden Oreo's, this is a solid buy...especially at 140cals a serving.

Haha that sounds like a rough mix, but you used it to your advantage. Speaking of cold, supposed to be in the low 40s in Minnesnowta tonight, bring on the 8-month winter
If you see End of Watch let me know how it is because I love Training Day and this is supposed to be that x1000Team HALEO™ Rep

You know it...full ROM down to essentially a dead hang. Pulls/Chins have always been a strong point for me, and are usually done weighted with a belt. Since I knew that I wanted to start doing 50 reps a day (per Wendler and others' suggestions) I figured I would drop back to bodyweight and slowly add weight to make sure to continue full range. Loving it so far. Chins much more than pulls of course...easier and great bicep pump.

Possible iPhone 5 brah?
Anyways, I really like where your log is going Irish. You seem to be extremely focused and are regaining some real self-control and discipline with your intake and
you know what you want in the end. Not to mention, I really like reading your reviews on the latest eats.
Keep it going man.

Things are well. Been on a bit of a journal hiatus for a few days. Been spending some time re-evaluating to be honest. Trying to take more time away from the forums. Still lots of stress in the rest of my life (work) so have been putting more time on positive things (family & lifting) and less on everything else. Cals have been solid, especially with the vacation eats.
iPhone 5 indeed. Should be here start of next week.
Log update to follow momentarily...
EDIT: No theres not.Last edited by IrishPilot; 09-27-2012 at 01:11 PM.
