Nope! Trish Stratus isn't big at all, I bet I only have to put on around 3-5lbs of LBM. Then I also want to lose 5+lbs of fat... I hope I'll get faster results now with lifting. I think I should focus less on what I see on the scale and more on what I see in the mirror, because smaller/lighter doesn't always look better. And muscle has way more density than fat. I'm not at a bad weight right now, though I could lose 1-2 kgs still.
I hope I can fit into the clothes I bought online that are half size too small (I'm between sizes) after I reach my goal lol. Oops...
Lol, maybe I'll do that in 1-3 months. I feel too skinny-fat/insecure about my body right now. : (

Haha, true that.
I ordered chicken nuggets from McDonald's once but it didn't taste good at all. I prefer a hamburger and I put on extra tomato slices and ketchup.
Lol, well right now all I have to do is lift and cut and get started, in 1-3 months when I make more progress and have to start worrying about the details I'll probably do it.
You guys have already gotten me out of my mindset of fear for of lifting too much or gaining LBM after seeing my first pics already, so I can work with that for now^.

Dat feel when you've had 3 days rest in the last 4 days. Gonna be nice and fresh for tomorrow's workout. I might go to bed tonight at like 9 so I can be waiting when the doors open at 5:30am.
That's a lot more weight than I can do.
Try doing 10 sets of 10 with only 30 seconds in between sets, that's more my training style.

Thank you Serp! Doing lower reps won't help getting more solid/defined either then? For now I'm doing 10+ reps.
Agreed, I'm going to let go of this fear and just go all-out on my training and hopefully it pays off.
Thank you, that helps a lot!

You can get muscle mass from lower reps, however....like i mentioned that everyone will respond differently to different stimulus. There is no reason for anyone, unless they are training for strength to be doing REALLY heavy low rep stuff though. I do it because my goal is to be as strong as possible, but for someone looking to sculpt and put on mass...they do not need to be doing heavy farmer walks or 1RM squats.
If one guy did low rep stuff, and one guy did higher rep stuff, and the guy doing higher rep stuff came out bigger, its not always the reason that he got bigger from the training, he may have different genetics which develop the muscle more for overall size. A lot of it comes down to how many fast and slow twitch muscle fibers one has in a specific spot and how it responds to a stimulus, that comes down to ethnicity/genes.
It depends on the exercise for rep range, but what i can tell you is that you can build a hell of a body just doing bench press, overhead press, squats, deadlifts, rows, weighted chin ups, and doing some isolation stuff for calves and abs possibly. Im not big but doing all those have gotten me where i am right now and have noticeably put on mass from when i was a skinnyfat newb. If you are consistently adding weight (progressive overload), the body HAS to get bigger unless you are only after neurological gains (1RMs, and learning how to activate more motor units; sherringtons law of irradiation).
With that said....the use of a lighter (than extremely heavy) weight with somewhat higher reps will allow you to recover faster and hit that same muscle again more frequently.
I would never put a girl on an extremely demanding strength training routine unless they were comfortable with putting on some fat at the moment and that was their goal.
The "hard" look you are after is a function of just more muscle mass, and lower bodyfatThere is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

True I don't care about 1RM but I was thinking about reps of 4-8? Lifting weights never really made me much stronger, even if I did put on mass, so I think it might be good for me? Maybe I should do both (drop-sets or pyramids style etc.)? Are chin-ups necessary?

You are a *******t. That is all
I would go somewhere in the 4 set range 15-12-10-8. At least that's been effective for me!
Go high volume and then add some drop sets or pyramids at the end of your workout :-) And of course chins are neccessary BRO.~Murray State Crew~
