yes. These would be the top 2 exercises most people would say do if limited to 2 exercises. If its because lack of equipment you could at least do lunges also. Eventually you'll want to do other stuff too. Try doing 10 sets of 10 for squats.

10 sets seems quite a lot? And I always cramp up when doing lunges, on literally every set :/ (I have had my form checked btw)

I would throw some sort of calve exercise in there, but otherwise, sure I'd say it's enough. Maybe twice a week though? I guess it depends on your split.

It can be if the intensity is high enough and the rep scheme sets up your body well enough for growth (given cal intake for it).

May some calf work if you need it as well.

I'd really trade leg press for dead lifts. They are the ****. I'd also bump it from once a week to AT LEAST twice.

Some calf raises and some hammy work would probably be of benefit.

Maybe 3x8 standing calf raises and 3x8 SLDL.

You could do worse than just squats and leg press though. That's how everyone of my lower days starts. 3x3 squat, 3x10 leg press.

I am gonna start doing dead lifts, but I might do them as the first exercise on my back day. That way I can go heavier on both squats and deadlifts

I'd personally throw in leg extentions and some type of calf workout with either a machine or dumbells.

For a authentic Leg Day you need to train hamstrings also so you don't leave out half your legs. Some StiffLegDeads and GluteHamRaises would be a great addition.

no. you need to work your hamstrings too: good mornings or stiff leg deadlifts would be at the top for those. personally, i also think legs are bet served with at least 2x a week frequency, though the workout doesn't have to be the same.

IMO 8 sets on leg day hitting them once a week is not enough
I would throw in leg extensions , and hamstring curls and hit legs x2 week

But at the end of the day if 8 sets is workin for you then stay with it

    this ^^^

GHR will destroy your hamstrings if done right and get a bit of your calves as well (but still add another set of calves)

You'll find Romanaian deadlifts are superior for hamstrings over Stiff-legged hamstrings. I'd add these to the squats and leg press. That would be a good leg workout. You could even try switching foot placement on the leg press each week to focus more on hamstrings or quads.
