    How's this routine?

    Monday
    Squat 5x5
    Bench 5x5
    Rows 5x5
    Press 5x5

    Friday
    Squat 5x5
    Bench 5x5
    Deadlift 5x5

Just two days a week to concentrate on my finals. Eating "clean" at a caloric
    surplus of about 500 calories.

Too much too often id say. Thats just my personal opinion but bench and sqat on the same day for 5x5 i found its too much. Unless you do the bench or sqat in the morning and the other at night etc. your energy levels wont be good for sqats, bench and press if you are truly going heavy. If its just manageable weight then may be. Try to get some cardio in, on a wednesday for an hour and 30 mins core or something if you cant get any more than once a week. Then again i am no expert just how i see things

Started lifting 6 months ago with a routine similar to SS by my rugby coach. Current S/B/D is 235/145/305 and hoping to increase those numbers soon. 16 years old at 165lb, approximately 20% body fat but looks are not important to me

Would dropping the volume to 3x5 be better? Progression wise would be to add 5lb to the exercise when all reps are completed smoothly.

Those must be some intense finals that you need to study 2+ months for.

In an asian country like mine, one must get nearly a perfect score to even make a decent living. Even diploma holders here could end up in Mcdonalds as a manager. Tough, competitive society.

True. No point complaining about the system. So any tips on a 2 day programme for now?

Do starting strength except instead of doing it three times per week do it twice per week.

But would the volume be too little for just 2 times a week?
