I've been working out since december. I do 275 4 times. I'm pretty sure I could put up 300. I would have to say your point is not relavent. This guy already has confidence and determination (something the fat kid is lacking). There is a different reaction to criticism from someone who is determined compared to that of someone at a low and getting personaly insulted "30 times a day".

hes 300lbs is good, regardless of his weight, im 16stone, i can only bench 100kg for 5 reps!

my deadlift on the other hand is 462lbs for 6reps! im better at pulling a weight than pushing it!

Motivation is personal and is different in every individual. It is part of my job to determine what motivates each idividual. For some its money, for some its fear, for some its job security, etc... Are you trying to tell me that if I tell a guy that is worried about job security that his productivity is down he's not going to work harder?

Obviously "Bro" I've lifted bfore you dont get to where I am in 2-1/2 months. I lifted from 16 yrs old until I was 26. Then too a year off.

Seeing that i wresteled 125 (5% body fat) senior year of highschool. I wouldn't call putting on almost 70 lbs of muscle pathetic (I'm at 11% body fat right now 14.5% in December). Looking back where I was two years ago it's almost embarrasing haw much strenth I've lost on my year off.

Hey there, Action Adam. This thread is pissing me off to the extreme because you can't just shut up. If it is the whole board vs. ACTION ADAM, then why don't you realize you're doing something wrong? I could see if it was you in a scuffle with maybe one other person, but being that the whole board is on your ass, maybe you should reevaluate. I enjoy watching clips and looking at pictures when people take the time to post them, maybe the lifts aren't those of the olympian level. WHO CARES. An old-timer just passing through.

Great lift. It take a lot of hard work to finally reach 300 -- I'd say a video is in order and be proud of it.

On another note, I'm not sure if the camera was on a tripod or you had someone in the gym with you taking the video, but . . . just as a suggestion, try to have some safety in place if you're doing these lifts alone. It only takes a second for something to go wrong -- not saying that it will, but just to be on the safe side.

I didn't notice any stops in the video -- so, if they're there, great. If not, please get something in place. I want to enjoy your 400-lb. lift video someday!
