Thanks man. TBH O don`t feel it in my triceps as much as other exercises but I`m going to persevere with it for a while. Will keep it to a max 10 reps then up the weight

Cheers. Really want a better press and been getting some good tips
Plate curls felt good. First set, didn`t notice too much in the forearms but sets 2 and 3 they atarted to burn. Tried with a 10kg but couldn`t even do 1! Plenty of work required here methinxs! Thanks for putting me onto them.

I hear ya. Plenty of time to train more when they get older. My 7 year old likes to watch me train and count the reps for me. Puts me off something chronic but makes me chuckle:

Thanks man. Think my best for reps was 160x5 then I hit 170x1 and 175x1 so if things go well a week on Monday I`ll hit 160x5 again. Feeling good about squats just now
I hear ya about the tunes. I used to train at Bannatynes, it was always some techno crap and I can`t train with earphones in. Puts me right off. So now I listen to whatever the hell I like."The hardest part in lifting, is NOT to lift..." - Me

SQUAT (no belt)
70 x5
85 x5
105 x5
130 x5
155 x5
No issues. Last 2 reps, lost tightness in the hole which I`m putting down to tiredness. Pretty sure depth is ok? (yes I know I`m wearing about 10 layers....it`s cold )
BENCH
60 x5
75 x5
90 x5
100 x5
117.5 x5
Solid reps. All TnG apart from the last rep of each set.

I did video this and discovered I`m doing a little dip at the top of the rep. Not sure how concerned I need to be about this tbh. It looks pretty minor"The hardest part in lifting, is NOT to lift..." - Me

Sweet video there and yes your depth is spot on man
I like training with layers on, especially when squatting - it's all about the hoodie
Fair play though for the motivation i hate trqaining in the cold, but you're used to it though being in the north pole lol
Meant to ask, i watched your vid of tyhe hammer work, is that you?
Had to watch with the sound off, wife was watching Eastenders.... Don't ask.The journal... back from the dead... Again...

Thanks mate. Training with a hoodie on takes a bit of getting used to but I quite like it now. I do have heaters but they make the air quite moist and the bars and weights get covered in condensation. No win situation really
The vid might well be mine. I`ve got a few on there. I love my tyre. When the weather is good I like to fit at least one session in a week. Unless you mean the sledgehammer one I posted earlier? That one isn`t mine. Just something I was trying out.
I feel for you on the Eastenders, I have to tolerate Hollyoaks

On a side note there is a meet on the 18th March. Tempted to do it but not sure I`ll put much if anything on my total and the comp will mess with my training a bit, taking time off before and after. Yeah that`s pretty much my thinking. The deadline is pretty close to the comp so I have time to decide. I`ll see how my training goes. If I continue on madcows until then I`ll have milked it for around 9 weeks which isn`t bad seeing as I`m adding double the recommended increase on deads and squats just now so I figure I`ll probably be about to stall around that time anyway.

I`d need to read up on it first I think. 200kg is definately do-able, done it a few times but I won`t be maxing out for a bit. I think if I hit 190x5 I`ll go for 220kg
