This is the link to the last contest spreadsheet: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spre...1E&output=html
You'll see that depending on how much you weigh initially, how much effort you put in, and how your body responds - will all be contributing factors to how successful you are over the course of three months. Personally, my goal will vary depending on if I hit my November 1st weigh-in goal (155lbs) - which at this point, I will. If so, then my goal for February 1st would be 135lbs. That means between August 1st and November 1st, I lost 20lbs - and would expect another 20lb loss to February 1st - which will be more difficult, but hoping that momentum will be on my side.
Either way, these challenges are a great way to stay accountable."We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit." ~ Aristotle

Very nice! I'm pumped too. This will help me exercise moderation through the holidays. I've lost 11 lbs in the past 2.5 months, so I'm shooting for 15 in this competition. We should organize an intra-thread buddy system so any person will have another member of the competition to keep him/her on his/her game.

If anyone wants me to keep them accountable Ill gladly do it. This will be the third and final one im in.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

I don't mind AT all! As far as I'm concerned, whatever it takes to help the people in this thread (and the other weight loss threads), I'll be there and support the cause. This stuff isn't easy - as we all know.
In other news, the scale (my scale at home, not the "official weigh-in scale"), is still holding at 155lbs. So, even though I said it before, I can't believe it, but November 1st goal looks like it's still intact. Exciting news!"We are what we repeatedly do.
