Crushing now. Thanks. GNR all day.
Cheers. Thanks for the tip. I'm still on the fence about it. I don't need any additional fluid retention. If I give it a run, I'll do it after I've achieved some PR's naturally.
Interesting. Thanks. I thought ethyl ester was the type of creatine that didn't have any clinical study support. Creatine Mono being the one that was actually clinically proven.....I'm probably confused. it happens.---

I was in meetings from about 9am to 6pm with few breaks in between. I was glad to still get my lifts in for the day. I've been out of coffee and was able to scarf some down at work. I've been drinking Jerba Mate instead. For those of you who don't know what this is, it's a herb from Argentina. It's much more potent than coffee in terms of caffeine, but tends not to give you that jittery nervous energy that coffee offers up.
The downside is that it tastes like you're licking the inside of the Phantom of the Opera's mask. Really, it's horrible. But the upside is you get to drink it out of a gourd with a nickel straw. How cool is that?
Tomorrow is boxing day. Not the british holiday... I'm going to get at least 6 rounds on the heavy bag and then run 2 miles. We'll end with abs. Sunday is off. Monday? HEAVY back day. Can't wait. That's going to be a freaking full-on assault. My Friday's are really a walk in the park. Monday is for cyborgs.---

Thanks, I love my pad. I live up in Vinings. It's easy to get downtown and I get this view from my back porch:
It's the best thing about ATL, right? It can be whatever you need it to be at any given time.
Thanks, pal. I think I'm going to go lighter next week. My form was a bit shaky on that last set. Also, working the heavy bag today was brutal on the front delts.
Thanks. I really don't drink as much as it sounds like I do. Nothing today, for example. Tomorrow's a different story as it's football day and the old absinthe fountain is calling my name. Hookah and absinthe tomorrow on my day off.
---
Boxing went well. Got six rounds on the Thai bag, did some abs and core drills. Ran a mile and a half before my iPod shuffle died. Got bored and quit. Good workout though.
I'll post food later.
Discovered that the Tron:Legacy Soundtrack is freakin' amazing to run to. I'm usually a classic rock, punk, and (blush) rap guy when I'm lifting. I hate techno. The new Tron soundtrack isn't techno, as far as I can tell. There's a very Philip Glass-ish intensity with a kind of post-punk playfulness that I really like.---

Oh hells yes. I went ahead and purchased Sunday ticket on my PS3. It's excellent. I haven't had television (in terms of an actual signal like cable, direct tv, etc) for years, but I've always missed watching Saints, Ravens, and Redskins. I live in ATL and just haven't been able to get into the Falcons.
The menu today will include absinthe (the real stuff....imported through creative means from places that make it traditionally) and I'm going to fire up my hookah with some apricot tobacco. PIcs later.---

Saints and Skins victories. Great day so far.
Celebrating with some Hookah (that's not what you think it is. Just tobacco.)
And some of the old green fairy. That's the good stuff, not the junk from the CR.
My wife broke out the rolling pin and the pasta machine and whipped up some amazing pasta with meatballs. Tomorrow is my epic, heavy back day. Gotta get ready.

Off to bed. Back day...HEAVY back day tomorrow.
I'm giving all of the weights in my midtown gym notice tonight. Start running. Tomorrow, my back and I are going to hunt you down.....each and every one of you, and kill you like the vermin-ridden scum you are. Search and Destroy notice. Beware.---

Weight at 187.3 lbs today.
EDIT:
That's 1.3 lbs up from last Monday. I'm not considering that a legit 1 pound gain as most of it is likely water due to a carb increase. I'm still going to increase cals by another 100.Last edited by phozosado; 09-19-2011 at 07:02 AM.

Weight moved.
Bent over BB Rows
325 for 5x5
last two sets were iffy in terms of form. I just need to get heavier.
Weighted Pullups
45 x 8
55 x 8
65 x 8
These felt strong. I'm going up next week.
Seated Cable Rows
190 x 8
200 x 8
210 x 8
again, going up next week. 210 is the entire stack, so this sucker is looking at retirement soon.
bent over DB raises
45 x 8
55 x 8
65 x 6
. Wanted 8 on the last set. Damn.
Finished the day with Ab work. Tim to EAT.---

Cheers. Kinda fun bulking, isn't it? You mentioned "fulking" in your log. Is that exactly what it sounds like?
Thanks. I honestly think if I could just get my bodyweight up, my bent over rows would increase fairly quickly. It's just a lot of weight to hold at parrallel and my balance seems to fail before my back does. Considering even a dirty bulk to get this freight train moving.
Hey, welcome aboard. No results to speak of yet, but we've just started week 2. Like Psycho and a few others on here, I feel a lot bigger than I am right now.---

You should post more prog photos, man. Pick a standard pose - something simple - and do a shot every 3 weeks or so. If you're like me, you won't notice physical changes simply by looking in the mirror. Let the hordes in the nutty forum give you feedback. My wife won't even give me a straight answer anymore. She just rolls her eyes and leaves my overly-dramatic ass to stare in the mirror at myself.
