Learning that you can't build muscle and burn fat with any supplement will save you a lot of trouble over the next few years. Gaining muscle requires increased calories while burning fat requires decreased calories. Plain and simple.
At 17, the thing you should worry about most at this point is your overall nutrition. When looking to build muscle, you want to slowly add calories to your diet, whether it be extra carbs per meal or add an extra meal in. Focus on dense foods and push heavy weight. Protein YES, as for a carb if your tight on cash drink some gatoraid, poweraid, or some drink with sugars. Just make sure you don't drink a juice (orange, grape, ect) if you take post workout creatine because one of those juices turns in useless and may make u sick.

Honestly, at 17 you can build strength while losing fat. Especially if you're just starting out lifting. You're naturally high in the greatest aid for this: Testosterone. You won't gain a ton while cutting fat, but you can make minor gains.

Don't cook each meal separately. Cook a bunch of food at once and then throw 'em in the fridge. I typically cook enough food to last me 3-4 days. You don't want to be wasting time cooking prior to every meal. Eating 30min after your workout in completely fine.
