the first 3 were taken the first of the year around 265 lbs . The 4th one was take last night. I'm around 245 currently. Its a start, my waist dropped from 42 to <38. prolly the last fat to go will be around my chest area and lower back(love handles).

Your making great progress! Keep it up!
And yeah, for me anyway, love handles are the last area to improve.I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

I'm far from a poster child BH. I just lift hard and heavy and try to get some cardio in when my quads arent sore as hell. My diet has been %^&^*I($^ sporadically consistent. It seems like when i do more cardio the weight comes down. If I dont do cardio, no matter how little I eat, the weight dont budge, and I feel hungry, weak, and depleted.
Next week the Golds gym I joined a ferw months ago will open. It will have the works. Raquetball courts(2), free weights galore, unillateral machines(like HS but not), a cardio cinema( you can watch a movie on large hdtv while exercising on cardio treadmills, elliptical recumbent etc),swimming pool, sauna, steam room. A lot more options for cardio so I dont get bored.
I gotta get down to 220 and hold there for a bit before I start my contest diet. At 220, I'll do a holding pattern whilst I find a contest to enter.currently cutting..... again!!

Great job! Always encouraging to see progress pics. I am with you, love handles not just last, but hardest part to get rid of, keep working. Repped.

You don't need to be a poster child man, your progress speaks for itself. There might be some people on here who lurk, don't post and would like to know where to begin, yet are afraid to ask or just don't want to.
You might be learning through trial and error or extensive reading/research I have no idea, but what ever it is, it is working and I am sure others (who do not know where to begin) would like to know how you are doing it.
Once again major props on the progress! On the list for Bannukah

It's not really rocket science. This has been my plan since last November
1- Lift hard. I push myself quite often to failure. I vary my routine quite often to keep my body guessing, bug I always go hard. I don't really focus on increasing weight on all lifts, but rather on staying in my predetermined rep range. Some days I go 5 reps, other days u do 12-15.
2- I attempt to eat less calories than I want. I'm amazed how efficient my metabolism is. I stay hungry(and I hate this part). I eat somewhere around 2000-2300 cal/day. I cycle an EC stack as it really curbs my appetite. Most of my carbs are in my pre workout meal( 2-3hrs prior) I recently took Old Superman's advice and wait 30 min to take post workout shake then eat my meal an hour later. I also take jack3d, kreakyln, and some bcaa before lifting.
3- cardio seems to be the catylst whether I lose weight or not. I do at least 30 min but usually 45 at around 145 avg hr. I don't think it matters much when you do it. When I have time I do it an Hour after breakfast, and lift in pm.currently cutting..... again!!

Nice start....a couple things jumped out at me
If you are considering a Natural Bodybuilding Contest (not sure that you are) you might want to look at the organization most do not allow for Ephedra Usage
Cardio for me was a neccesity to get lean as well- Check out a book called "The stubborn Fat SOlution" by Lyle Mcdonald he is a big advocate of Yohimbine HCL with Cardio and before you eat carbs for targeting "brown fat" I must say I think his approach is excellent and really helped me get lean

thanks for the props and reps from you all. Most people I'm around daily prolly dont notice much cuz the change has been so gradual. I made myself take some before pics just in case I felt that ilooked the same.
Before i had to take a good breath I went down to tie my shoes. I'm afraid however, that the easy part is done, and the rest will prove to be increasingly more difficult. Gonna have to change up my attack some and focus more on cardio and diet and not so much on lifting strategies. Yes, i still have to put in the gym time and lift heavy to keep the muscle, but the leaner I get more focus must be on calories in/out and plenty of protein. My next supp order I'll get some casein for overnight. Sometime I wake up starved and eat some cc and natty pb or drink another whey shake w/ milk.currently cutting..... again!!

I'll have to get that book that Lyle M wrote. sounds like some interesting and helpfull reading
I recently(last 2 months) started looking at different natural organizations to see what substances they banned. Thats when i found out about the ephedrine. I took some ph(dont even know exactly what it was about 10-15 years ago) .It may have been androtestorone(sp close) and didnt even finish the bottle as i stopped working out.
But ya, with the mass I currently have, once I get the fat off, I think I'd be tough to beat at a natural show. So thats my goal. Finding a natty show I'd qualify for within 300 miles may be a challenge. If you know of any, please pm me.
I'll keep you all updated on future pictorals when i feel I'm more camera worthy.
Thanks again.......Plumhercurrently cutting..... again!!
