left hook: need to hide your head behind your shoulder when throwing the lead hook. also looks like your forearm is slanted. better thow the hook horizontally if aiming for the head. also try loading your left leg before throwing it. finally, try swinging your right hip back clockwise when throwing lead hook. it's not just about the core
you tend to drop your left arm after jabbing, especially when you throw a double jab. leaves you vulnerable to a straight right
snappier punches
hard to critique your punches from the right side because of the angle but when you are throwing a power 2, you gotta really drive your hip into it. it's ok to turn your right hip inwards till you are square with the bag
use head movement more. try moving your head before and after each combo
incorporate rollbacks and slips
try full extension on the jab that you throw before stepping in for a cross hook
dont drag your feet. cover more distance when going in and out

Are you orthodox or south paw? If you’re a beginner, I wouldn’t try learning switch… because you’re doing switch. I would focus on one or the other.
Punches:
Work on range for your jab and cross, especially with movement and position change
Work on full extensions of jab and cross. Weaker power
Most of your punches (jabs, cross, hooks) are initiated from your upper body and arms, you’re not initiating with your feet/hip rotation
Hooks in particular need more hip ration, you’re just swinging your upper arms around
Also with your right hand in particular you aren’t turning over your punches for your crosses***you could hurt yourself and depending on level/distance for your hooks you should do it turned over or coffee up.
Guard:
You need to keep your hands higher to the face, your guard is so low at reset and it drops even lower than grandpas balls when you punch.
Form:
Your base is weak and not stable. When you throw your cross, your back foot comes off the floor… you have no power and loose balance/stability with that
General:
Pull your punches back/get snappier
Exhale on all punches
It looks like arms are flared for your punches at almost a 45 degree angle, wrong keep them tucked
Work on being more loose
Work on movement
Work on your level changes
Your flat footed, stay on your toes
Work on your pivots, angle changes, shifts
Work on varying between speed and power
That’s all have fun!Last edited by Eggiesinabasket; 11-29-2023 at 03:28 AM.
