Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top adviser to two presidential administrations during the COVID-19 pandemic, reversed course in a Tuesday interview and agreed that shutting down schools for more than a year due to the virus was a “mistake” — while also arguing the initial decision to close classrooms was correct.
“Keeping it for a year was not a good idea,” the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) told “CBS Mornings” co-host Tony Dokoupil while talking about his new memoir “On Call: A Doctor’s Journey in Public Service.”

This was obvious to anyone not a complete paniccel by April 2020. By then it was known it wasn't a threat to kids. It's really too bad education, especially elementary level school staff are about 90% women. If it were more evenly split schools would have opened earlier.

Funny, I remember wanting them to stay open, especially when it became clear children were not hit hard by covid. I seem to recall NYPat screeching and screaming, mashing the keyboard and yelling how idiotic, retarded and moronic that stance was, that *nobody* could go against the renowned expert, Fauci.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
