The new concept of lesser matches on PLE's is starting to hit back...
You know what I am saying, some time ago we had PLE's or PPV's having average of 8 or 9 matches each...now WWE is doing 5 or 6 on each show...
While the concept is ok because lesser matches mean the few get more importance and more run time...but it's starting to hit back a little, you know why? Most superstars even including the major ones get ignored on the big stage...and then the US and both the men's tag team titles haven't been defended on the last 2 PLE's and there aren't any in the upcoming PLE tomorrow...it's still hard to say if it's a good idea or a bad idea....but something is being lost here....
I think in general it's a good idea but always good to mix in some variety just to spice things up from time to time. I mean if you have a dominant champ give him a squash match on a PPV to save some time on the card and give some a couple other guys (or girls) a PPV match to let them shine.
In a similar vein I also like the longer reigns in general but also wouldn't mind some shorter reigns and surprise title changes just to keep the element of surprise and "anything can happen" in the product.
