Not sure if this posted. But, wtf is this shіt?
To find Trump guilty of felony-level falsification of business documents, the jury must unanimously find that Trump falsified the documents in order to commit or conceal a separate crime. But the jurors do not all have to agree on what that separate crime was, Justice Juan Merchan ruled.
Trump’s defense argued that, to issue a felony-level conviction, all jurors should be required to agree on the “predicate” crime.
Prosecutors initially laid out four possible predicate crimes, one of which the judge ruled out before trial. The remaining possibilities are a tax crime and violations of state or federal election law.
Defense lawyer Emil Bove argued that jurors should have to agree on a single predicate offense. But prosecutor Matthew Colangelo said the law doesn't require that.
“The importance of the case is not a basis for deviating from the standard application of the law,” Colangelo said. “There’s no reason to rewrite the law for this case.”
Merchan agreed with the prosecution and said he won't impose the requirement the defense requested.
In other words: If some jurors believe that Trump falsified business documents solely to cover up a tax crime, while others believe that he falsified business documents solely to cover up an election crime, the jury can still convict Trump on the felony-level falsifying-documents charges, despite disagreeing on the predicate crimes.

The problem is, there was never an underlying crime and the head of the fec wasn’t allowed to testify because that’s exactly what he wanted to say under oath. In doing so, it would kill the case. But cohen was allowed to go in and on about how he committed the crime, even though cohen knows nothing about campaign finance law.
Just goes to show how much the judge is trying to stack the deck. The funny thing is, even if trump paid off stormy to influence the election and you could consider this a campaign finance transaction, it wouldn’t have been reported until AFTER the election anyway. So the idea that they hid payments to influence the election is false, because the election would have been long over until they would have legally needed to report them to the fec.
The entire thing is pitiful.

^^Great post, rampage.
The fix is in.
President Biden plans to address former President Donald Trump’s Manhattan criminal trial in a “White House setting” when the jury delivers its verdict, according to a report.
The 81-year-old president’s message will be tailored to the outcome of the trial, according to Politico, but in any scenario, he intends to stress that the US legal system worked and Americans should respect the process.
Biden will deliver remarks whether the 77-year-old former president is convicted, acquitted or the jury cannot agree on a verdict.
Closing arguments in Trump’s trial over alleged hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels are set to commence on Tuesday.
It is believed that the jury could reach a verdict as early as next week.

Starting now
In New York, the defense goes first and then the prosecution.
Trumps team estimated to the judge about 2 1/2 hours and then the prosecution estimated 4 to 4 1/2 half hours so the judge said it might roll into the next day- that will give the prosecution a huge advantage that happens as they'll have over night to create more complexity counter.“A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither. A society that puts freedom before equality will get a high degree of both.”

The defence is going to spend hours arguing conclusively, that Michael Cohen and Trump aren't friends, Trump is a great golfer, and eventually, try to repeal the testimony of their witness, Costello. Their legal defence, summarised will be "Did not! Did not Did not Did not Did not Did not Did not DID NOT!"
The prosecution will argue Trump definitely did commit the crimes he is accused of here.Back off, Warchild.
Seriously.

I was just reading a hilarious joke which went something like this:
Two Trumpers die and go to heaven. They meet God and are permitted to ask him any question they like. They decide to ask him "Did Biden steal the 2020 election?". God replies "Of course not, my son, it was an entirely free and fair democratic election."
One Trumper turns and says to the other: "See? I told you this thing went all the way to the very top!".Back off, Warchild.
Seriously.

Yes, show evidence of wrong doing, I posted the 34 charges..all just ledgers of paid invoices his lawyer submitted to him..that’s the point.
Trump has numerous key issues, for the argument for appeal.
-Guilty on all 34 counts and nobody knows, including a conflicted Judge and Prosecutors who never identified an underlying felony, what the underlining crime is.
-Resurrected misdemeanor bookkeeping charges that had lapsed.
-Liars and whores, boundless character testimony prejudicial to Mr. Trump
-Prejudicial evidence that the Soros's judge allowed to be admitted , access hollywood tapes.
-Corrupt and bias Soros Judge and Prosecutor, etc..
And if you are claiming the judge is not corrupt, I already addressed that as well

Yep. They all circle jerk themselves while trying to gang up on left leaning posters (who must remain civil while engaging them..) and turn out to be dead fuking wrong. AGAIN. AS. ALWAYS.
And btw.. our former president just rattled off one of the most unhinged speeches that history will look back on as a gigantic WTF?...
Nothing prepared.. nothing about how the country should move forward.. just.. incoherent rambling and false accusations and lies.
