I've been very happy with my Irwin Bench, the degree of customization he allows is second to none. Garth stays on top of it and nerds out about the equipment, which definitely adds to the process. It's a small shop so expect long lead time and delays.
The Elite FTS is made by Williams Strength and excellent also. They recently did some revisions on it to add QoL features like a UMHW ladder and more degrees on the incline.
I went with Irwin due to the slightly shorter bench height and how much Garth was willing to work with me for what I wanted on the bench.

Money no object but space limited
I’m not sure if this has been answered already but a money no object for a small PT studio space?
I’m thinking the essential items will be a leg press or back squat, leg extension, leg curl, chest press, lat pulldown, chest supported row, lateral raise machine, calf raise and back extension
What are everyone’s thoughts?

Panatta purchases
Hi all, such a wealth of info in this thread!
I’m looking into buying a few machines from Panatta for my home gym. Specifically the high row and a couple of the chest machines.
Where do you all purchase Panatta from? It seems primo is quite expensive? I requested a quote through their official website about a week ago but haven’t heard from anyone yet (maybe due to holiday).
Any upcoming group orders?Last edited by CaliDerm; 12-24-2023 at 02:24 PM.

Torn between the gym80 pivot and panatta bridge/super bridge. Looking for big ROM and to hit full leg, not just quad, also I really like the feeling at the bottom of being crushed from above like a vertical leg press as opposed to the feeling of a 35 degree nebula linear. Right now I’m unsure if should follow healthnutMD or trust my gut
Is the panatta bridge a similar feeling to a cybex squat press or is it more of a linear angle that comes in lower? HealthnutMD has a video with the gym80 guy doing the leg press and it looks awesome but specifically stated in the comments bridge is better. The gym 80 looks like it has more of that vertical leg press crush you into the seat type motion and have appears to have a larger ROM than the panatta bridge and super bridge but ive never tried either.
This is what I’ve been using at my gym and it’s the only experience I have with pivot presses. Core 1 fittness leg press
Bridge
-cheapest, looks cool, very wide at 70”
Super bridge
-most expensive, looks ****ing sick, 65” wide,
Gym 80
-middle road price, looks good, 61” wide and 30” shorter on length than panatta, lacks any reviews and healthnutMD didn’t recommend
Free motion
-ugly, higher price, will work as intended
For context I’m putting this in a 2 car garage with 8-10 machines so footprint is important to meLast edited by diearealboss; 05-25-2024 at 11:45 AM.
