This is exactly what happened actually, extremely common in corporate desk jobs

They put up fishing ads to collect resumes & credits, the top-tier applicants(screened by AI now) will be put on a back burner for 90 days per law



A lot of the time a position won't even be open when they do this; the entire hiring system is broken & shouldn't be online

I've seen where companies hire outside parties to do "phone interviews" now; which allows them to discriminate(mainly age) before you even get the chance to speak to someone in person
