    Do U consider Taiwan to be China or worth sending Sons/Daughters to RISK lives 4 it?

    I don't see Taiwan as worth the LIVES of Western Sons/Daughters, so far as I'm concerned, they speak Chinese, look Chinese, they ARE Chinese...and didn't they immigrate and pretty much take it over from the indigenous peoples which were already living there? Or is my history understanding/knowledge lacking?
