Makes sense. Mobile is pretty much capped out these days, hard to get any more people on mobile phones than there already is. Bet a lot of mobile gamers are only going to slowly lose interest over time or upgrade to a PC or a proper handheld eventually if they really get into it and start taking it more seriously. Home console market is essentially its own niche, people who like the simplicity for their home entertainment centers will stick with them but PC is definitely where all the growth seems to be these days. Can't say I blame most people either with the price of console online subscriptions getting so out of hand, even a year of the most basic PS+ costs $80 these days. If you're into online and competitive gaming you're better off on a PC.

like i said earlier, my son's little league baseball team is all talking about wanting a gaming PC.. they don't even mention ps5/xbox... writing is on the wall to the future of console gaming thats why Sony is putting their exclusives on PC also.

Well why would they want a Playstation? Does anyone really think kids are wanting to play chit like Horizon, God of War, and TLOU2? Heck most of their games are on PC anyways. Pretty much everything they try to sell people on these days is some nerd chit for the older audiences. Nintendo can appeal to kids but most kids get a Switch as their first console anyways, and probably want to upgrade to something more powerful as they get older. Xbox's main appeal is in Gamepass and a bunch of games that probably don't appeal much to kids either. With a PC they can get the best graphics with the most variety of games and easy retro emulation with free online services.

Because adult consumers are tired of being cucked by consoles and their dogchit policies and pricing. You think paying 600 bucks for a console and then another 50-100 per year on subscriptions doesn't add up to the cost of a PC over time? Lol. Console gaming isn't even the cheap option anymore. It's just the cucked option.
Kids/teens don't want consoles anymore because they can't become a famous streamer on one. No one is making it in the streaming space playing console games these days. Everyone kids favorite streamer is on pc, and so they want to be on pc too.
Theres always gunna be a place for consoles for the lazy gamer. People like them because it's a perfect device for a lazy man's hobby. I get it. But that is like the oppose of my personality when it comes to my hobbies. I would rather build something than buy it, I'd rather do it myself than pay someone else to do it.Sometimes I park in handicap spaces, while handicap people make handicap faces

Bruh it's gaming, it's not supposed to be a high effort or high energy hobby lol. You sit on your ass and push some buttons on a controller or click on a mouse and push a few keys on a keyboard. The whole point is for it to be somewhat relaxing and easy to be lazy. Then again I guess there's all these gamers who gotta sweat and tryhard all the time, so maybe they take offense to that.
