One thing I personally feel about astral projecting, is its just hyper real lucid dreaming. I don't think you are actually projecting into reality, more so re-creating it in a dream state. I have ringing in my ear, so when I "projected" I would just hyper focus on this ringing, and after 10-15 minutes I would float into dream state to where I could literally do anything I wanted. I spent a majority of the time just flying through space, you can literally feel "wind" on your face when doing this.

I really don’t know. I have had dreams in my youth that manifested into reality later on in my life.

I use to have flying dreams all the time, but not for awhile now. I use to also have these dreams of jumping on a trampoline and each bounce I got higher than the last, I would jump so high at some point i would be scared to fall.

On another note, different subject yet connected. I once had this girl friend I could easily hypnotize, we would talk for hours and at some point she would fall asleep, yet still be able to have a conversation, and she would tell me anything. And later when she woke up she wouldn’t remember anything, but I was able to make her dream about things in this state, and I was able to plant things into her mind it was really bazar.

But i believe sometimes our dreams are determined from where we are sleeping.

And what state of mind we are in.

Another thing that has always perplexed me is clocks in lucid dreams, time literally doesn't exist. It took me a while to make myself realize I'm in a dream, and the one way I could for sure do it every time was to look at my watch. Clocks don't work right in dreams. Why is this? There has to be some type of reason right.

Another reality test is to press your index finger into your other palm. Do this throughout the day as you're awake. Then, one time when you dream you'll do this but your finger will go through your palm.

I love this type of thinking. I focused heavily on it in my twenties, even getting as far as astral projecting/lucid dreaming nightly. Vibrations in my ear drum are how I achieved it. Any reading you suggest on this?

Try the rope method and WILD (wake induced lucid dream).

You lay on your back and close your eyes. Imagine a rope going through your chest and up to the ceiling. Focus on grabbing the rope and pulling yourself up. You might be surprised sometime when it works.

Within minutes you'll start seeing random patterns of light in the dark of your eyelids, known as hypnagogic imagery. You may also hear sounds, and feel sensations all over you body. It's completely normal, if you panic, chances are you'll wake your physical body and you'll need to start over.

I sometimes think I remember being really really small. When i cup my hands and bring them to my face it’s like everything connect like a puzzle peace and I kinda remember what it was like to be whole.
