Starting this log. Here's my background:
I started bodybuilding in high school and dropped around 60lbs. I was the leanest I had ever been, and this was maintained for about a year until I went off to college. Once I was in college, I indulged in drinking and eating out a lot, and while I don't regret it, I did gain back 80lbs over the next six years.
Now I am sitting at 212lbs. I am down from 230lbs, and am joining a local gym soon to get back into the swing of things. I have marinated steak and asparagus in the fridge for meal prep tomorrow, and am planning on meal prepping 14 meals for the upcoming two weeks. This week is going to be a bit hectic with graduation and pinning this weekend, but the plan is to meal prep tomorrow and get in a gym session with the free pass I received as well as join the gym, and just eat at 1800kcal. I'm not expecting myself to be in full-swing of a workout program until next week, but I will slip in a few sessions this week.
I'm using this log to keep myself accountable and motivated. I have always wanted to compete in the past, and although I am not sure I want to compete right now, I am sure that I will be once I am in the 170s.
LFG!

Meal prepped for the next 10 days, took around 2 1/2 hours. Meals are steak tips w/ potatoes & asparagus, and chicken breast w/ potatoes & beets. Taking the day to relax, going to try out the gym tomorrow after my new job orientation.Last edited by Troopashd; 05-13-2024 at 11:55 AM.
